Thanks as always, 3eland
So, one more Thousand Son

A little history: This was done after i painted a big thousand sons army for a fellow user here some years back, but he needed to sell it to cover medical expenses. When I heard about it I painted this guy up for him. Since there aren't pics on this thread, a few highlights of the old army:

So, the first display piece I've done in a bit-- Vulkan, the first primarch I've painted.

The Vulkan looks good.
The closest thing I'd have to criticism is to comment on his skin. He looks more like a D&D Drow to me. I'd expect his skin to look a little more like... ash... like burnt out remains of a fire. That dull, cold gray/black.

Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.
To get some humor out of life and pass it on to other folk.
I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Yeah, he's a little dark- went with FW's skin there, and the glare makes it look a little darker for some reason...
Forgot to post the helmet here, though. So, he can also have inoffensive green

Re: SpiralingCadaver's hobby thread
Yeah, really sucks re: your TSons
I also hadn't heard "DP" either... thought 3eland might have thought ahriman was a daemon prince?
So, a fun duo- Mr. Graves (the bouncer) won me first in category in Wyrd's Frozen Moments competition, who goes with his cooler buddy, Mr. Tannen.

Wicked models Spiraling. The whole purple/yellow thing I am doing on some Eldar (among other colours). I always though it was a cool effect!
Well done as always!
