Umm thanks again. I chose it because it was easy and had a good contrast. I need to make/convert my warriors into crypteks and decided, when I finished painting them, that the rest would be the same.

I'm glad a pro likes them also.
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

No it's not. It actually has a red glaze over it.

The backs are Reaper Ruby Red with GW Red Glaze over it.
The guns were GW Silver with the same red glaze and then a red wash to even it out.

Not they are crap. I sprayed them with a sealers and it completely screwed up the paint.
I used a matte at 1st, but it made them frosty. So I then used a spray glaze over that, which usually brings the color back. It didn't this time
I had 2 models that weren't sprayed with matte. 1 I sprayed with gloss, as a test. It eneded up almost like the matte.
The 2nd I painted with the GW liquid gloss varnish. It's not much better.

So now I have to strip them and repaint then and the other 10.
The guns will be painted something else..maybe the Ruby red instead of the gaze.

The spyders were painted using Vallejo copper. I'm not sure the exact color since the label is worn and the words are off.
I have another Night Scythe I just finished painted it.

Thanks, but they look like crap in RL. The actually look better in the pics then in RL.
But, on a good note, I now know how to make models look frozen or covered in snow/frost. ;-)

Kturock your like some sort of painting machine, you just keep turning up with new painted models. It's great keep it up! I can't seem to find the will to paint more than a hour or so per week...

You gon't want to know how many models I have half painted..well maybe not half. Primered and base coated.
I usually get 1 hour a night. I also do alot on the assembly-line method. Thus the night scythe and immortals finished at the same time.

Nice Minotaurs, Skuller (despite them being jerks to my righteous Astral Claws... mumble, grumble).

Also, wow, kturok- that's some serious speed.
True, we love life, not because we are used to living but because we are used to loving. There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.

I expect honesty about models' conditions, thank you.

If I don't respond in a day or two, please check back, I've forgotten-sorry.
