Re: Bad Trader: IdentifyZero Item not received
Considering the possibility of retaliatory referencing alone, it is suggested there is something much deeper going on here...

Lower BT ratings ships first; paypal preferred. Reply to PMs, even with a "no thanks." I may lag, but I will reply!
Please try to leave a ref for each transaction. I always will. It tells myself and others what kind of trade partner I am!

You might try a chargeback with your credit card, and I would definitely go the fraud reporting route.flyingwhale wrote:Nope Paypal dispute is pretty hard to do especially when you send it as "gift" to try to prevent him from him paying paypal fees. It's also been way too long to do a dispute, I let him delay past 30 days so it doesn't even show up as a possibility to dispute (This started in November) on my paypal account.
I am now just more irritated that I have a bad reference lol

Re: Bad Trader: IdentifyZero Item not received
Paypal won't let me do anything. I can't even file a report....Unless anyone has any suggestions?
I keep getting this error message:
"We're sorry, but this transaction cannot be disputed because it is not a purchase of goods or services. Please contact the recipient directly." because it was sent as gift.

You sent the funds as a GIFT. You avoided some fees, but lost out on protection. When someone asks you to mark payment for something as a GIFT, say NO.

Forget the automated system. Call the #.
"Gift" payments have been successfully disputed in these situations before. Plead ignorance, promise to never do it again, etc.

Re: Bad Trader: IdentifyZero Item not received
Going to step on here and defend myself:
#1. We never finalized a deal.
#2. That is not my PayPal.
#3. You never contacted me.
#4. I would like my personal information removed from this thread.
#5. I would like the bad trader reference removed from my record.
I have done plenty of trades on Dakka and Bartertown and never had a single issue. Flyingwhale comes out of nowhere with this, I DO NOT EVEN DO commission painting. I barely have time to paint my own stuff. I also noticed quite a few people back out of deals with him as well, just like I did.
I'm not sure what to tell you. Maybe the admins can check to see if my account had any other Ips logging in to my bartertown. I deal with quite a few people I traded with so regularly (like chris1) I don't even need to post advertisements half the time.
Can someone please do something about this, I'm not a scammer. If you notice my dakka pics or blogs, I spend a crapton of cash on 40k regularly like it is no big deal. I buy so much stuff from Forgeworld, I end up having to sell it off just so it doesn't sit in my closet and basement after a spending trip I should not have made.
Thanks for your time and patience!

Re: Bad Trader: IdentifyZero Item not received
Just went all the way back to November on my account to, that was definitely not me negotiating with you. I thought this was something else entirely, that is my fault.
I can assure you, I never made those arrangements with you in the PMs. I see them in my own inbox, not denying the existence, but that wasn't me. Sure as hell not sure why my address is posted up either....? That in itself seems suspicious, this so called trade didn't involve anything being sent by you and yet my address was given to you.
Btown admins I need you to look into this, I don't think I am the only one who has had access to this account.

Wow... okay to avoid a flame fest on my part. I'll make one post and leave it in the admins hands.
A) If you wanted to plead innocent why did you leave 2 retaliatory negative feedbacks one around a month that I need to have removed and one this morning. IF and a big if what you are saying is true wouldn't someone chime in a little earlier instead of dropping neg references all the time or even try to communicate. This is the first time I received a communication that is not bad reference since Feb.
C) I also took the time to find you on facebook and dakkadakka and send you messages and you ignored my attempts to get a hold of you. This was all done BEFORE I posted this bad reference and BEFORE I made this thread.
D) If I am a "con artist" I must be the worst con artist in history because I am still out $100
Alright
Admins please chime in

B) The claim that someone hacked your account and made a deal with all your information then you somehow "unhacked" it now and regained control makes little sense.bad trade reference has been posted about you from Identify

The following comments were made on your bad reference from IdentifyZero:
This trader has continued to make up false allegations about me, claiming I took money from them? I\'ve done plenty of trades on here and Dakka and had no issues, except for this guy. I am not sure if he is trying to con $100 or something, but watch out for him. He tries to act very nice and then pulls this kind of crap. I don\'t know why he did this to me, but I never did anything to him. Thank you

Re: Bad Trader: IdentifyZero Item not received
Hmmmm.... Watching as things have continued to unfold...
It is only right to be consistant and remove this NEW retaliatory reference from Flyingwhale's record AGAIN. It appears to be getting abusive now to Flyingwhale.
I'd further suggest to IdentifyZero that he change his passwords on all accounts and computers.

Re: Bad Trader: IdentifyZero Item not received
Also... if that wasn't IdentifyZero's paypal, can he shed light on whom it belongs to? Does it look familiar? Any chance that you have roomates or family or a friend / visitor that paypal address could belong to? If so, your chances for removal of Flyingwhales refernce could gain better support
.
It's just strange to me to think that someone revisiting a site after being away for awhile, leaves another reference (after the earlier reference was removed) the same day he posts items for sale. I would think that you would want to work towrads setting something like this right, so your items have a better chance of selling and the situation can be set behind you.
Just a thought...

#1 We never finalized a deal.
That means you were talking at one point.
#3 You never contacted me.
You admit to receiving messages.
If someone "hacked" your account- but you are using it now? Why not reply to the OP when he tried contacting you on Dakka & other places?
You left retaliatory negative feedback? You should be banned just for that.
Your address is up- where did the poster get it?
This aint Dakka or Ebay- you can have a million good deals there- doesnt mean you didnt botch this one.
As a neutral third party- Ive read this thread- I dont believe you at all. Things just dont add up here.

Re: Bad Trader: IdentifyZero Item not received
No, it doesn't add up, because I can guarantee if this comes down to a logistical issue, I'm probably wealthier then most gamers.
We won't turn this into a topic about the size of my house or the amount of vehicles I own or a list of receipts for things I purchase, that would only further serve to cement how little sense it makes for me to try and steal $100?
Sorry if that comes across as condescending, it should as I am rather insulted by all of this. I throw away more than that every two days on my own vices.
I've left negative feedback because I've been given negative feedback by someone for nothing, I am retaliating for being attacked. I was never given a chance to refute anything, just attacked and had my information posted up here for all to see?
I only know about this stuff because Porkus previously contacted me on Dakka to ask me about it and emailed me.
Re: Starslayer, we were talking and never finalized a deal. I am saying he never contacted me again about all of this stuff he has brought up on Bartertown. Also, if my account was 'hacked' why am I using it? Clearly my password still works and the OP never tried contacting me anywhere else. I'm still confused how he has my real name and address and I have actually contacted my local police department to see if there is anything I can do. This constitutes libelous behavior right now and giving out my personal information without consent, which is a crime in Canada. Bartertown could also be held liable for this.
Regardless, if I had to take a good guess who is responsible for all this if anyone, it is my ex-wife. I'm more than happy to send flyingwhale her way if he likes, she's a fething b*tch.
If any of you have gone to any post-secondary education, you've likely taken critical thinking at some point. It doesn't make sense for me to try and rip someone off $100 to paint some models based on my history here or anywhere else. It is the opposite of logical.
I stand by the fact that my account was 'hacked' as Starslayer put it, in this case, accessed and used by someone who is not me. I will continue to have good trades with people and provide them good value and items exactly as described, always maintaining my word. I always go the extra mile and give people extra bitz or put extra cash towards shipping. I do this for fun.
So if my post comes across as rude, mean, assholeish, douchebaggery etc.. Consider how this has been handled and how I have been slandered repeatedly, my information posted without knowledge or consent for something I have nothing to do with. I dare you to act any more civil in the same situation.

This is what you live for I bet, coming on internet forums and trying to judge people because all they do is judge you every moment of your life. I'm sorry for that, I truly am.
