Venting.
I traded with a guy from Canada for an entire WoC army, abut 200 dollars US in miniatures.
Due to an issue with a trade where he shorted me previously and has yet to correct, I insisted he ship first and use delivery confirmation... From Canada.
[Ok, I know I shouldn't have traded with him, but it had been so long that I agreed to the trade before I realized who it was.]
5 months now and all I got was this from him:
Roughly this is how it went after 2 month wait...
Me: It's been 2 months, how we doin on the army?
Him: You got your F'ing models and you are lying about not receiving them.
Me: Where is the tracking info?
Him: Cost me 50 dollars to ship your models.
Me: Huh? Ok, so where's the tracking info?
Him: Not a word since....
I am very thankful that I didn't ship anything. I would have been burned big time.

File a backout and post your message history so we can all avoid this "Canadian" malefactor.
I am always in the market for weird and wonderful GW oddbitz and ephemera. PM me if you have something old/weird/rare.

Honestly, he's not from this site or I would report him.
I go out of my way to warn everyone he tries to trade with of what happened with us.
Thanks for the advice
I read your tips on trading with Canadians link. There was a bunch of stuff I didn't know.
Thanks.
Tim

One big thing EVERYONE has to understand. There is NO "DELIVERY confirmation" however there is tracking. Guess what most large parcels must be picked up at the post office and when it is picked up you have to sign. The tracking number then acts exactly like a DELIVERY confirmation, because the post office needs that signature to mark it as delivered.
Try this tracking number on www.usps.com
CJ204864767US
Status Delivered abroad.
Then if you check it on the www.canadapost.ca site it will give further info.
Canada post site wasn't working when I posted this so I couldn't check. I just don't know how long of a memory it has. This one was from Sept 2010.
