Favourite Conversion

Post by oaflord »

Hey guys,

More than anything I am looking for new and fresh ideas, was wondering what everyones favourite modelling conversion they ever did was. I have a few, but my all time fave would have to be back in the days of Halflings being core for Empire in WHFB and I modelled an all Halfling Empire army. The best piece though was the Halfling pointing with the chicken leg popping out of the top of the Steam Tank. WIsh I had kept that army...

So, what is your favourite conversion of all time??? Has to be something you have done, pics would be great (if you still have the model, I know how these things get traded around). I'll start off with my most recent one. A simple head swap turns IOB Skaven Rat Ogres in to Ogre Gorgers...

I added [img] tags to your pic. Can you see it now?
Sorry. I'm at work, so all I ever see with pics on hosting sites is red X's. So, I can't tell.

If that didn't fix it, I can put it back to being a link.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

None of these things are VITAL, this is a HOBBY. A hobby we enjoy, but still, a HOBBY.

Lower rating ships or pays 1st, myself included. Used to be more flexible; but was burned in recent months by a few newbies. If 200+ feedback w/no negs and 10+ years member is not enough to be trusted, well, like I said - none of this is VITAL.

well.. mine has to be one of these 2.. and I am not sure if EITHER qualifies for this thread..

and the Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun from my Ork Waagh Magshak..

(Ork Nob with Cybork parts, Dwarven Standard Topper Gobbos, Burna Left Arm, and converted Deffgun. The triple spinny ball on the end was made for me by a conversion service, not by me, which may take this out of the qualification)

I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.
