Konflikt Terrain on the GW terrain blog!
Just a short news release on an event that GW has on their site:
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conte ... =12500050a
I entered this with a few terrain sets from BT customers in the past few months. It looks like they liked the Tyranid Gene Core Set pretty well.
In all honesty, I'm just glowing over having it posted on GW. It looks like I may have a chance at the prize board, so I'll cross my fingers!

Lower BT ratings ships first; paypal preferred. Reply to PMs, even with a "no thanks." I may lag, but I will reply!
Please try to leave a ref for each transaction. I always will. It tells myself and others what kind of trade partner I am!

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.
Have you read the site rules? viewtopic.php?f=44&t=45470 If not do so.

That it is!
I am truly glad to see that he won AND that is was a very worthy piece of terrain for the contest
... somehow, I can't help but feel like GW staff are still predisposed towards choosing a GW terrain set though . Ah well, easy come, easy go sometimes.

Re: 8/31 Breaking News: GW terrain blog
It is awesome looking, but somehow (even though I don't play GW anymore), after the shock and awe, the first thing came to my mind was...how many GW sets did he use to make that monster?
The Answer: Too Many ($$$$$$$)

Lower rating? I ask that you ship first. Also, if I offer a stupidly good deal and you try to negotiate even lower...don't call it bad communication that you didn't get a reply. I deleted the message.

Re: 8/31 Breaking News: GW terrain blog
I agree as well Stanislav.
The only way that it could come closer to being a worthwhile build is if he had access to the bitz as leftovers from a bunch of sets or other players. That seems more unlikely to me that not though. Kudos to him either way .
I do like the fact that he made it modular too. Modularity is key to usability, versatilty in setup and sometimes portability.

I was curious about this as well. Having plenty of time on my hands, and being bored, I looked close and priced it out.Stanislav wrote:It is awesome looking, but somehow (even though I don't play GW anymore), after the shock and awe, the first thing came to my mind was...how many GW sets did he use to make that monster?
The Answer: Too Many ($$$$$$$)
It took 3 Bastions, a Skyshield landing pad, and an Aegis defense line.
The Answer: $201 U.S.
Not counting paint, foam and labor.

Whatever gave you that idea? GW is a fair and unbiased entity.
