If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

Always ship with delivery confirmation, I do the same.
Rating of less than 100 (or with no known traders)? You ship first (for trades and purchases), otherwise, we can ship simultaneously.

Behind the issue. The O.P. was permitted to make his post on the issue. That was a good decision because it addressed an issue that gamers had about a company and their plan to handle the issues. While Bartertown is a "trading site" , the majority of the trading is gaming items and it involved "trade" so it was most definitely relevant to this forum.
The O.P. was polite and asked permission first and waited until gaining permission before making the post.
The resulting discussions on the original post are a totally separate issue and the mods/admins have been carefully keeping an eye on it in order to make sure it does not get out of hand. They have already had to delete a few posts. They are doing a great job and most of us have been fairly polite to one another overall.

The resulting discussions on the original post are a totally separate issue and the mods/admins have been carefully keeping an eye on it in order to make sure it does not get out of hand. Treat other members with the same dignity, respect and honesty you would like to be treated with.

Companies such as this COULD take advantage of today's economy to get back on their feet. Resources are a lot less expensive (this includes "factory space") and there is a huge out of work employee base desperate for jobs. Combine that with the grants and loans that are available for businesses to jump start the economy, they could get back on their feet both in terms of money but also in terms of veracity and reputation. Of course, this is assuming that they are willing to acknowledge that they need help and to work on their policies.
