Re: bad trader chad aka luvzz2play
Paypal is (more than likely) not going to issue a refund, though, because you listed the transaction as a "gift". Still worth a call, of course, but I wouldn't expect much to come of it.
Do I owe you a trade ref? Remind me- sometimes I forget!
Awaiting trade refs from: tristym, yazaran
If you don't have your Location listed, take a second and update it!
-I respond within 48 hours unless utterly incapable. Please do the same. Any offer I make stands for that long as well.
-Lower rating? You ship/pay first. Same goes for me.
'How Much for...?' messages will no longer be replied to at all. I've been nice about it, now I'm done.

Re: bad trader chad aka luvzz2play
You're right.
Gift Definition: something acquired without compensation
Kind of hard to justify a situation when you claim something as a gift. Since they don't charge the typical paypal fees, they consider it a pretty cut-and-dry case. Nasty lesson to learn...

Lower rating? I ask that you ship first. Also, if I offer a stupidly good deal and you try to negotiate even lower...don't call it bad communication that you didn't get a reply. I deleted the message.

Re: bad trader chad aka luvzz2play
Good news for that! Good luck on the claim.
So, how did you manage to get them to let you file a claim, considering the "gift" nature of the payment? Did you claim ignorance? Promise to never do it again? Something else?
Thanks.
Eric

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Re: bad trader chad aka luvzz2play
in my use i wrote something like:
hey mate here is the payment for eschelius and the bogey.
seeing as it was a PAYMENT they said they will open the dispute manually for me as it cannot be opened via the regular system as it still is recorded as a gif....

Re: bad trader chad aka luvzz2play
Because you sent as GIFT.
If you can dispute & chargeback thru your CC / bank, that should get your money back, but PayPal will get mad...
If you sent via PayPal balance, you're screwed.

Re: bad trader chad aka luvzz2play
was an echeque, so i'm screwed.... i'd have prefered to just have the bogey replaced / refnded, but that doesn't work without chad's cooperation.
i think this will not be resolved, so i guess the negaive i gave him, whilst a bit to speedy was evertheless a good judging of chad's character....

They should at least give you an explaination as to why they ruled in his favor, rather than you having to guess.
Skol!
Re: bad trader chad aka luvzz2play
Paypal pretty much just tells you the results - they don't give any reasoning. Frustrating, but that's the way it is.
