Don't know if this adds to this. I am new to this and was recently working out a deal with Kyle about his dark eldar. When I mentioned a means of payment he stopped writing me back. I had been contacting all his references. One of which claiming to be his real life friend, which I find shady enough to use as a reference for online trading when he just traded to his friend. His friend keeps saying Kyle is still interested just too busy to write back. He is logging in and checking his messages and not responding to me either. I just gave up dealing with him and then read this. He also has a negative reference and another in the deadbeats/backouts forum as well. If this goes much further I have done some research and have his work contact number and location of his work that can be posted in case he uses it for a delivery point for stuff or just to contact him that way.
About me:
1. GW retail doesn't equal value if you intend to sell me assembled/stripped/primed/painted items. These all devalue them and anyone can get 20-30% off GW retail NIB.
2. If I take the time to write you please be kind enough to at least tell me no or not interested.
3. Lowest reference ships first

DO NOT post it publicly.
Please, PM it to (only) and Admin, and we'll do something with it, if we need to.
Better that than post his information here for ALL to see.

I'm having a simular issue with spatula. I paid him $300 8 days ago for his dark eldar army... since then he has only sent me one message, and he hasn't shipped the army still! I'm giving him one week to ship out before I start taking action... I am NOT losing out on $300.

Feel free to start your own BTR on Adhesive.. do NOT post "Me Too!" posts in another person's BTR. 8 days with no shipping and no communication is not good.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Folks I am awaiting a ref from.. Zack

I sent him a PM earlier today about this when I saw he was on. Here is the response I got:
Sent: Tue Nov 17, 2009 12:37 pm
From: adhesivespatula
To: Ironhide
This package has been sent out, he lives in Canada and I at the bottom of the U.S. (Florida to be particular) so this should take 10 - 20 days to get there since it was sent super snail mail ground (all the models I sent were pewter) to cut back on shipping costs. What this gentleman neglects to mention is that the models he sent me were not the ones I had asked for, but I worked out a deal with him to be a nice guy. He also fails to mention that I purchased a set of models from him and the payment via Paypal is immediate. Of course, when one wishes to get a point across with force, it is best to leave minor details such as this out of the equation. I have mailed him directly about this though sadly I do not have any of the mails (I imagine he does not either) hence why I am replying directly to you. The models will be there, they have been shipped and are on the way, I see no further need to deal with him or anyone else for that matter, I have much more pressing family concerns to deal with that shirk and forgo the commonality of models. After I conclude this and the other 2 trades I have open please feel free to permaban or simply delete this account, I have no further use for any of you.

Sincerest regards,

Kyle Stout

Well, at least he's honest...

Still, if the deal will be made good, that's good for the OP.

Nice attitude....good riddance!

All he had to do is reply here or to the people who trusted him.

Sleepingsamurai- Id charge-back (or whatever) that $300 real quick. You can always pay him when(IF!) you receive them. I wouldnt trust him.

To me it sounds like a cop-out. I'll be surprised if you get anything from him. Protect yourself ASAP. Leave a negative ref- he wont care- he's leaving anyway, right? Bad attitude....

Funny thing is he was offering the same army to 3 people, good thing I didn't also pay him the $300 for it.

Here is the list of what I was trading at the time, the models in questions are highlited in red, so show that I didn't hide anything from him, it was stated that they are not the actual models that he expected.

I guess he also failed to mention that we agree to a tracking number from both parties, I sent mine with a tracking number both times, if he would've sent it with a tracking number, I wouldn't be on here complaining.

Yeah, after reading that angry mail he sent to ironhide I've decided to start the paypal process of getting my money back... Honestly it doesn't take 10 days (I checked my bank account, I sent the payment on the 8th) to send an army... I was able to pack 6000+ points of models for both my ebay auctions and mail them off in one day -_-

As for anyone else, I'd make sure he sends first in all your trades with him, more rating or not! If he doesn't send out my army by weeks end I'll be making a claim back for the money I sent, I aint puttin up with his stuff and neither should anyone else!

I wouldn't term it as an "angry" PM. Just an honest one. He did say the items were on their way and that he was going to complete his outstanding trades. It would have been better if he had answered the accusations in this forum.
