Here's a conversion I'd been thinking about doing for a while. Back just before GW discontinued selling bits, I picked up a bunch of things I "...wanted to do something with". So I had this in my head for a while, all the potential bits in a cup on my idea shelf. Then this conversion contest was announced, so I figured I'd give it a try... and a good excuse to get something done. ;)

I just loved the last scene from Final Fantasy, and saw this guy pulling off his signature move (> > < ^ V < X O O > >) ...of course with the Mortal Kombat voiceover "FINISH HIM!!!"

Nice work! Come on people, only one entry. I know there are more creative minds here on Bartertown. Let's get 'em in.

OK, its been finished for a few days now. But I have had a hard time getting some good pictures. Here's the best shots I have so far. This is the Dire Avenger exarch for one of my squads. I wanted to have a very dynamic pose befitting the Bladestorm ability. Everything on the legs was repositioned, both ankles, one knee and the hips had to be rebuilt. I was happy with how it came out, the flag wasn't exactly what I wanted but it will work :)

Thanks

I'll play...

Lufgt Huron, the Tyrant of Badab. This miniature is supposed to represent Huron pretty much immediately after he recovers from his melta blast, and right before Huron and his renegades drop on the 1st pirate outpost they take in the Eye of Terror. (and a sidenote I'm not a big fan of the official mini...)

So here he is built, I'll be painting him over the next week or so:
