I wasn't planning on calling anyone; I was going to write her and ask her if she would talk to him about this, since he won't talk to anyone he's ripped off regarding his dealings.

I know how to be professional, but perhaps you have a point.

And I applaud your efforts Sid, but at this point since he has already been reported to the authorities there really is no point contacting her. I'm pretty sure the authorities will be contacting him (or whoever is at his residence) regarding the matter.

Yeah, I hope so. I hate seeing people get away with this sort of thing.

Sid I think anything will help. We have had no luck contacting his mother, which he lives with. Maybe contacting the GF will help.

I am up for anything. It is amazing how hard it is to find this guys actual contact info. I guess it pays to be unlisted if you are a scammer.

Yes the cops are probably going to be visiting him soon, but i would like this thing resolved amicably sooner rather than later. If he gives us the cash or models, this thing goes away.

If he has an appauled mother and a girlfriend nagging him to get this thing resolved before he get charged with a felony. It might get resolved sooner rather than later. That is what I want, and anything that can get me there faster is good to me.

I can not access Facebook from work, it is where I do most of my Btowning. So I havent seen the sights recently linked yet.

You have already reported him to the authorities. At this point, you will not be able to solve it amicably by contacting his GF or mother. In fact, they could report you for harrassement if you try to go that route. He is an adult living with his mom, not a teenager still going to school living with his mom. The ends do not justify the means. As I said before, deal with him or go to the authorities.

TrooperX: The GF or Mom are only accessories if they have knowledge of the crime or participated in it, and you do not know for sure if that is the case. The police will find out though.

Sending them a letter asking them if they know what's going on isn't harassment.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Ok, that's good thoughts. I say let's let the PD do their thing. It will take time for them to gather information, and get approval from their own on what course of action to take. Everyone should file a report with them using the on-line form, regardless of amount lost. Just give them everything they might need to do their job... and just give it a few days to see how it pans out. The holliday will no doubt slow things down. So far we're playing the legal route, by the book. Let's not take an agressive posture that might prevent the PD from their own actions. If we get tagged with harrassment, or whatever, it will undo our progress. Let's keep it professional.

Great...

I think that would be a great course of action.

If you want maybe include the list of the people and damages. I have a list of the real names and contact info for most of the people involved. Send me a PM if you want to include that info.

If anyone gets hit with "harassment," it will be me, and I don't really care, so don't worry about it.

I'm sending ONE message regarding this subject and that is IT.

I get more junkmail in my real mailbox every single day from legitimate companies whom I've told I don't want their crap, so if I can't hit THEM with harassment, they sure as hell aren't going to hit me with it.

And once again, if they do, I don't really care. There isn't much they can do to hurt me to be honest - I have nothing to lose. Besides, she hasn't logged in to her myspace in nearly 9 months, something tells me it's not a priority for her.

I'm telling you right now, if you want a resolution to this, you've got to get EVERYONE on board, get EVERYONE to file their police reports, get EVERYONE involved. Just 1 or two people here and there aren't going to make a case. But when you get all 8 or 9 of them reporting this guy, then they HAVE to do something.

File everything you can think of in your report, your paypal receipt if you paid via paypal, your chatlogs, your IMs, your emails, everything.

You all have to do your part for this to work. It can succeed, but you've got to stay patient and work at it. It's relatively small fish comparatively, but you still have a right to justice.

I am by no means trying to discourage you guys from getting this matter resolved, just trying to steer you away from doing something that could jeopardize your case. Get those police reports filed and report him to all the proper agencies. If you don't get anything from that, then contact them and see if they could help you resolve this matter.

I am going to close any discusion about opposition to Insidius writing a letter. I would like no furthur comments on it. Opinions have been expressed on both sides and as the spokesman for the "Involved Parties" I agreed with the action and support it.

Again no furthur discussion or comments on the pros or cons of sending a letter to Joesph. The topic is closed. If made, they will be deleted.

It is proving to be an major distraction for what in reality is a non-issue. I am surprised at what something of this miniscule importance has actually aquired an opposition.
