celestialkin Backout

Post by oldgamer56 » Tue Aug 21, 2012 9:36 pm

Answered ad by celestialkin for some Harlequien Jet bikes and figures. I sent pictures, negotiated a deal, (including him changing his mind on figures I had to specifically look for at another address), had boxed up items and was ready to send. He never sent his address or responded to follow-up emails. I then listed items on Ebay, he bought them using Buy it Now too prevent anyone else from bidding and has refused to pay. I could not list items on Bartertown because the case was still open. I have had to open Ebay Unpaid Item Case which closed today with his receiving an unpaid strike.

Have some metal jetbikes and 3 (I think) unassembled Harlequin jet bikes. How many do you want and what are you offering? The regular bikes are painted as Sann Haim.

May have the weapons sprue complete, will look tomorrow (at my other house). What are you offering?

I assume you are looking only for Harlies with kisses? Have some, will have to count. What are you offering?

Well, I just picked up two Harlequin Jetbikes on ebay for $18 and change a piece. Would that work for you for the Harleuqin ones?

As for the regular ones, how does $12 a piece sound? And how many do you have? I need quite a few, but mostly of the twin-linked catapults. I don't need the shirker ones.

And I have no clue what the value of the sprues are. Please tell me what you would want for them.

As for the harlequins with kisses, are they painted or not?

Sounds reasonable.

However, I just remembered a trick I did years ago for converting Harlequin Kisses. Hence I can actually use the models I already have, so I don't need the two Harlies and the Solitaire. I am really sorry for making you look for them.

Anyway, would that be $16 less then?

Also, there is the issue about feedback. Mine is currently at 42, and your feedback is at 4. That is over ten times bigger. If you had at least 20-something I would not mind, but for this amount of cash I am reluctant to pay first. I have been burned online before, so I hope you understand.

I am oldgamer56 on eBay, current score 412 with 100% rating. Check out my feedback and the items I have for sale.

I have no problem sending them and will then invoice you $84.00 if you send me your email address and mailing address, which I kind of need to send them.

BTW, reducing my huge Eldar forces down from over 25,000 points. Need anything else?

I was going to suggest you make you own kisses, but that was kind of cutting my own throat. Small brass tube from Hobby Store.

I assume that since you have not responded, you are no longer interested. I will be listing the items on eBay tomorrow.

Hey,

I did not find them under oldgamer56, but I am guessing cbmostpatient is another ebay account of yours? Anyway, I bought them. I'll be happy to pay you through Gift option to save you money.

Now, how much for the other bike? I see you only listed 3 Saim-Hann ones.

No problem. I am between two houses right now and am trying to reduce my Hobby footprint, otherwise my office gets overwhelmed and the wife gets unhappy. So when stuff comes in, I like to get it out as soon possible to avoid clutter and breakage.

I am helping a friend build up her sale history in anticipation of her listing a lot of items in the near term. There are a lot of collectables that she will want to move fairly quickly and eBay has a new policy of holding money up to 21 days for sellers with low number of sales, which is a pain when you need money quickly.

Additional bike $8.00 no shipping.

Well, would she like me to send the money gift then to help her out?

And sure. I guess I lose out on the good deal, but my fault I guess.

Also, you never answered whether she wanted the money through gift as I offered so she does not have to wait 12 days and pay paypal fees, but if you want to have an attitude well...

no, just a regular transaction.

Communication key, ball is in your court, stuff is packed, ready to go, Invoice has been sent. If there is going to be a delay in paying, you should tell the seller, especially if you use Buy it Now.

Had stuff ready to go Friday night, all I needed was a address, then silence for two days. So, unpack, list last night, boom, this morning bought, we discuss, then silence again until I prod.

So yeah, I'm a little irritated. I have done all I can to keep lines of communication open. All I needed to hear was it will be Thursday or so.

Just to verify, celestialkin listed an ad on B-town, you responded, then worked out a deal where you list a private auction on eBay and he buys the items? Is that it in a nutshell?

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

No.
Close, but no cigar.
They came to a sale agreement herem then CK backed out. OG56 relisted them on feebay, where CK went and bought them... then never paid.
He's reporting the backout from the trade here and adding in the bit about feebay.

Please forgive me. I lost my home, ended up homeless, and in the psyche ward. This lead me to default on some trades.

You will receive your money shortly.
