How long should I wait??

I responded to a trade ad here the same day it was posted. As of me posting this, I am yet to hear back from the OP. Messages have also not been set. I know how that system works. I have sent 2 PMs about 10 days apart. Longtime member, low trade score and few posts. The same username is on Dakka but even lower stats are listed there. I did send them a PM on Dakka just if by chance it is the same member.

I do wanna buy the items and I know its really a personal choice but how long should I just wait?????

I can't tell you how long YOU should wait, but I can tell you how *I* handle it...

I just move on. I sent the message. I made the offer.
If I get a reply, then cool. If I don't, then cool.
If the person eventually gets back to me, I move forward with the trade IF I'M STILL INTERESTED. If not, I politely tell them that it's been too long, and I no longer have a need/use for the items.

But that's what I do from Day ONE. I don't have a time period before I take that perspective. It's just how I treat every potential trade I reach out to people about.
