unlock my thread

Hi I posted a for sale thread under 40k and a user asked me a question and I replied back and I guess I can't do that...?? Do I just have to pm people if they ask questions on my for sale thread? How can I get my thread unlocked?viewtopic.php?f=8&t=239068
Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Your reply was "Shoot me a PM." That's wholly unnecessary in a trade ad. In the posted rules (which you read before posting your first ad. Right? Right?), it explicitly states what is allowed as a response to your own ads.

When a thread is bumped in violation of the rules, it stays locked.

so in other words I need to repost my add? or how do I go about editing my add to lower price? Or do I have to wait a full week???

Yep. It is important to read and follow the rules before posting an ad.

Okay I just assumed it was like other sites I've used with a "bump button" thats my bad for not reading the rules.. I suck lol. Thanks for the help I will repost in a week if it doesn't sell elsewhere.

You can edit the ad and put in the bottom, "EDIT: prices lowered"
and just change the title with words "lowered price".

Without having to wait a week.

Not in this case. Once a thread is locked, it cannot be edited.
