Let's say you see something you like and you don't get paid for two weeks.
Would a seller be willing to take a down payment then payment of the balance and then ship once paid in full?
Or is that just viewed as bad form?
How are installments/deposits viewed?

*notes about trading with me…
I do not like drawn out deals. Id like to have a deal signed and complete within 48 hours.
I abide by the unwritten rules… lower rating ships first pays first.
I always provide delivery confirmation and expect the same.
All deals are US only.

Okay thanks. I've only tried offering that once and it was turned down and I didn't know if I had offended the person or broken some sort of bt rule. I was just surprised because I had offered to buy their whole lot at asking price.

Agreed, if it was a non-refundable deposit with a specified time limit on the payment due date. If I'm selling something, I don't want to hold it forever because they decided to give me $50 to hold it and later decided to ask me to hold it for 3 months.starslayer wrote:I don't know about others, but I would accept that.

Lower rating? You ship first.
Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.
To get some humor out of life and pass it on to other folk.
I think what this situation needs is some imagination.
