Ok folks its time to get ready to convert! Ill be taking entries for the contest by PM until 12:00Am on 5/7/12. Time for converting your mini will run from 12:00 am on 5/7/12 until 12:00 am on 5/21/12. Final pics will need to be turned in by 12:00 am on 5/23/12 when a poll will be posted for judging on the 23rd. Rules for the contest are below. If you have any questions about the rules or any part of the contest please ask. As this is the first contest i will be running ive chosen not to limit it to a single theme so please use all the creativity you wish on your models within the confines of the rules. As i would like to keep this a simple contest i will not be accepting vehicle conversions for this contest. Solos, Mechs, or Monsters only, if you have a question as to whether your conversion will be accepted please ask. In order to enter PM me a picture of your model to be converted, or peices to be used in the conversion, in the case of scratchbuilding. Please put "BT 2012 CC1" displayed on a peice of paper in the background.

The Rules

1. You must convert your own model, and it IS to be unpainted. Your model can not be a commission peice. All finished models must have two pics turned in: one of the finished model unprimed, and one of the finished model primered.

2. Any futuristic or fantasy game system's pieces can be used; alternately, you can scratchbuild your entry.

3. Creativity is encouraged.

4. Conversion base not to exceed a 120mm base size.

5. Scene must contain at least one (1) but no more than six (6) total models.

6. Models must be at least 40% converted from the original.

7. Models must be in 25/28/30mm scale.

8. Keep them decent, mostly. An R-rating is as hard as we'll go on this one. Use your common sense, nothing vulgar will be accepted. No nudity will be considered for entry.

9. Bartertown Staff and/or the contest organizer reserve the right, at our own discretion, to remove any contest entry we feel violates any of these rules - either literally or in spirit.

Entries will be voted on. We will open a special forum where entries will be posted, and there will be a poll at the top for everyone to choose their favorite. One vote per person, and yes you can vote for yourself. Most of all HAVE FUN! :orc_thumbs_up:

Sorry, cmd. I know you don't like having your posts edited, but it was an important edit that needed to happen *now*, and I couldn't risk you not getting a PM for a while.

Admin edit on Rule #8. This is a family site, and we've got certain limitations we have to adhere to.

Eric

well, last day of the contest, i got one entry which doesnt make much of a contest. As long as i get final pics of a converted model from owen before the 23rd, he will be the automatic winner.
