Owning a miniature company myself, unless I have express ownership of a model (I commissioned a model to be made and own it) or express permission to reproduce that model or model with conversions, I could not manufacture that model, its all a copyright and ownership law issue.

Again, just want to make sure Matt is kosher with this all.
You sell parts to add to somebody elses models. Thats what he is trying to do, get parts to sell to add to somebody elses model. I don't see a difference with what he is trying to do and what you are doing.

OKay, guys.

I'm going to go ahead and put the brakes on this line of conversation.

This is a topic about entering a contest, NOT about the legality or propriety of said contest. If you want to discuss it further, please take it to PM.

okaydoke when will this contest finish up?
i think i'll have a go at this :-)
When dealing with me the following applies:
NIB = new in sealed blister
mint = new never stripped may or may not be in blister
assembled = mint assembled miniature
stripped = previously painted, may have minor paint residues
primed = single layer of primer, no obscurement of details
painted = may have one or multiple layers of paint, may be badly stripped with paint residues, pictures are best here
primed and painted minis are assumed to be assembled

Having had extensive conversations with TrooperPX, as well as contact with Matt at Conversion Corner, I am satisfied that this contest does NOT interfere with the deal between Conversion Corner and TrooperPX.

Let the contest continue!

getting there, the basic shape is done now to detailing :-)

it would have been much easier actually having a copy of the thing to sculpt it on but well....

That's why I provided pics and specs... :) The neck mount can always be built up later, so just leave an area on the back of the head for me to work with.
