By the way, I have 2 PMs in my outbox. Once I get approved, will those PMs automatically be sent?

So i was told the following.
- You write an PM and it sits in your Outbox. It is sent, but shows up in your outbox
- Once the recipient reads it, it leaves the Outbox
- So, the indication that it's left your Outbox is essentially your read receipt

You didn't need to post here. Your account's been around since 2008. Only accounts opened this year, after we made the change, need to be approved.
It stays in your Outbox until read, when it moves to Sent Messages.
