Dystopian Wars SIZE of models.

Post by Adunaphel »

Hello Fellow Bartertowners,

I like the look of the Dystopian Wars miniatures. But, I was wondering what the relative size of the models are?
I can't seem to find a photo anywhere that gives you an idea of the size of any of the models.

If somebody could post a picture of one of the ships (battleships or carriers preferably) next to a space marine or something, I would be most appreciative.

Thanks!!

Karl

I think the frigates are about as long as a medium base (terminator size). The battleships are easily 5+ inches long.

No, no, guard, turn, parry, dodge, spin and - then - thrust!

I believe that he meant scale. I think they're 1/2000, but I could be off on that.
Always ship with delivery confirmation, I do the same.

Rating of less than 100 (or with no known traders)? You ship first (for trades and purchases), otherwise, we can ship simultaneously.

YOU must ship your package; not your wife, friend, lover, cousin, or dog. If you are not able to ship packages yourself, then please don't work out a deal with me.

They are 2mm, or 1/900 scale. They are big!

An EotBS frigate is 40mm long.

What's the game's base size? Like 15mm, 28mm etc.

I was told by Spartan Games that Dystopian Wars is 1/1200 while Uncharted Seas is 1/600 scale. Some of the larger capital ships can still be a rather nice size!

From the staff painting challenge, I ended up painting some Federated States of America ships..

so I added a CSM to the shot for scale for you guys..

here are some tiny flier tokens, Frigates, and Cruisers..

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Folks I am awaiting a ref from.. Zack
