Need Help Finding Something for a Project

Post by wsott1970 »

Nope... I can't tell you specifics... but I am really looking for approx 28mm crowns... Preferably from the royal family...

I have found a site where white-smiths make some very expensive ones (and I would pay what they ask); however, the scale is way off...

The best would be Victoria's Bridal Crown/Veil...

Now I did find this (and I will buy it and cut the crown out)...

http://brigadegames.3dcartstores.com/EO ... _3809.html

Curious if anybody has ever seen anything like this? Other minis of Victoria or other Royals in 28mm scale... or better yet 28mm scale crowns (doll houses are wrong scale and too primitive... lots of others I have found but all wrong in some way)...

Thanks in advance...
Sean

*Looks at you with curious Canadian eyes while sipping a cup of tea as a picture of my Queen hangs above my mantle*

I'm not sure what kind of crown you are looking for. Do you have any pictures of this Whitesmith crown so we have an idea?

Anything below similar to what you're looking for?

More like this, but scaled to 28mm (or heroic 28 if you prefer)...

https://www.historicroyalpalaces.com/gi ... n-set.html

I found a really good site that was all the British Royal Crowns... but again scale way off... They range form mid 30s to 50s... Which wasn't that big a deal to me... and I may have to find it again and make them and see if they will scale it to 28... If they are hand crafter it may not be that big of a deal.

Thanks for the pics though... I do like 4 and 5... Not as complex as what I want, but in a pinch it might do... From which miniature line does it come?

Thanks,
Sean

Tin Soldiers of Antwerp.

We do have some creative sculptors here on bartertown. One who sculpts cake toppers. He may just be the guy to sculpt a crown for you!

Take a look in our advertising forum.

That might be the best course of action.

Yeah, actually I know him... Was talking to him about a magma dragon awhile back... That is a pretty good idea.

Search up the magna dragon he did... Search like magma dragon Walmart base... I think that will get you to it... He took a walk mart clock and made a great base to wrap the dragon around and just a stunning paint job.
