I have the thin plastic glue. The little metal tube is clogged. Anyone know what kind of solvent can unclog it?

Hobby Lobby sells a debonding solution that might work or you can try nail polish remover. I know that the old Testors glue like that came with some really small wire that you could slide down the tube to unclog it.

The local GW store manager uses a trick he was shown by another manager. He heats the metal tube end with a lighter. It burns off the glue. When you see the puff of smoke, it's clear. Just heat the tip/end of the tube. It should only take a couple seconds.

For the testors glue. I just use a single strand of wite. You must have some old multi-strand wire around the house. Just strip part of it and voila.

I haven't tried it on the GW glue. I don't use it much.

Thanks guys. Heating the tube with a lighter worked like a charm.

Wow, never had that problem, but glad I have the solution now!

I assume you guys are using masks while applying heat to a solvent?
