Alternate Dred models

So if you dont know I have 100 deathwing terminators. Im working on getting 3 more dreds for a 10:1 (terminators:dreds) ratio. I also have 10 deathwing Knights on the way. I would like a dred for them as well. I was thinking of converting the GK dred knight but its just to dam tall. Other than FW, are there any other options out there?? If possible post a link.

Thanks,

Jason

Never ordered from them, so I can't comment on the quality.

Bit late I know, but if you're still looking, Privateer Press's Warmachine line might have miniatures you could convert. The Cygnar faction has several Warjacks that have a shield (which looks to be a DW feature) and look a bit like a Dread (if you squint) with their spindley little legs. Unfortunately, you're going to be getting the GW appearance without getting GW. Their legal dept has made sure of that. For a good selection of PP WarMachine, the WarStore ([Admin Edit - No linking to non-advertisers, please. Thanks. - MM]) is always a safe bet.
Good luck

Are you looking at cheaper alternatives, older lines, or just cool squat mechs?

-you could probably get away with using the old chaos dread as an imperial one, with some nice painting and DA bits.
-I personally love the look of the old metal Venerable, would recommend that

if you're looking for a divergence, how close in aesthetic should it be?

Guys,

Thanks for the links and ideas. I have an idea in mind and now I will just need time and money to make it happen.
