More Orcs for my new O&G army.
5 Orc Boar riders. I guess I shoul paint as many models at once. I started these when I started te Goblins on spiders; and started 15 Orc Boyz. I have to keep going back and touching up or painting places I've missed.
The riders aren't glued to the boars, but I might end having to do it. I usually try to keep them seperate for storage, but hese just aren't staying in place.

I like the boards, but orcs with unpainted teeth look pretty weird...

I've never had a problem painting over varnish unless it's gloss (which is just irritating since it messes with flow, rather than that difficult), and that doesn't look like it is.

If you have it, hit the faces with a quick spray of matte first. It'll hold the paint better. Once you have them painted, you can spray them gloss again.

On a side note; Why gloss?

I've used the matte over gloss to repaint before.
Why gloss? Because the matte I have is to dull. and the gloss isn't really shiney.

Oh, I was talking about stuff like 'ardcoat. unless your spray makes modes notably shinier, I doubt it'll hurt them to try

Well its November and its colder the wolf poop on Fernis. No more priming or base coating. Detail work as time permits.

Enjoy:
Image
OOP Chap Asmodai and some odds and ends. I think he came from the UK 2nd hand. Much nicer than the current model.
Image
2 more dreds. I say more because I now have 10 ready to go. 1 more next year. Dez stop me from buying more dreds and terminators please........
Image
Way OOP Nid warrior. This was to be my HQ prime in my nid theme fun army. The blue is much duller than the picture shows.

Points== 1pt Asmidai+(5ptx2)dreds+2pt nid=13 total points.

Unknow for the odds and ends

Jason

Been way too long since I put anything up. Clearing off my table and earning some points again:

3 Sorrows from Malifaux
Image

4 Terran Frigates for Firestorm Armada

Bad cell phone pics, but 3 points for the Sorrows plus another 4 for the frigates = 7 points.

Cool, I like the weird way you painted those sorrows.
