Just curious if anyone has used a waterpik to assist in stripping models?

I have good luck stripping most paint from models but have issues with getting into the tight spots with a tooth brush or hobby knife to completely clean a model.

Any input or suggestions would be great.

I've used one though I get faster less messy results from a toothbrush and running water. If your looking to get stuff out of tight spots it won't do it. It's best used for stripping off the top layer of loosened paint.

I usually soak the models in simplegreen first. So the paint usually rolls off...maybe I'll test it using my pressure washer first...just worried it will destroy a plastic model at 2500psi....

I was assuming you meant after a soak in some type of solvent. It does not come off that easy without it. I've not tested it so much that I remember a difference between metal and plastic. You may have a more powerful water pick than mine.
