Oil Painting?

Post by Fizzermech »

Hey guys,

My friend just picked up some dark eldars and Im currently in the process of getting some models myself. I love painting and am so excited to start painting my models. I have a bunch of oil paints and am relatively good at mixing colors. I was just wondering if anybody had any experience with oils and how it turned out? I might try one of each with the same color scheme

The drying time would be horrendous. I know some people use oils to achieve certain weathering effects on vehicles, but I don't know anyone who paints straight up with oils for everything.

I can't imagine trying that. ESPECIALLY on a model in this scale.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.
