2012 BartertownMembers challenge

Post by Gaijin18 »

As I've watched the challenge from last year and the new one for this year and looked over the bretonnians,IG touch-ups I need to do,titans and left over stuff from various armies I myself need to finish or paint I was thinking why can't we regular members give this a go as well so who's with me?

(borrowed from staff challenge)
Regular infantry, 6mm inf./vehicle stands, 15mm inf. = 1pt.
Ogres, Ogrun, Trolls, Light Warjacks, 15mm Cavalry, 6mm large vehicles = 2pts.
Cavalry, Bikers, 15mm tanks = 3pts
Heavy Warjacks, Manticores, Hellpit Abominations, Smallish Vehicles, 15mm Big Stuff = 5pts.
Large Vehicles (Land Raiders, Valkyries, Trygon, WM War Engines) = 8pts.
Really HUGE Stuff (Titan, Stompa, Baneblade, etc...) = case by case

Sure, I'll bite. Getting back in to 40k, and that means there's a ton to paint.

I expect honesty about models' conditions, thank you.

Hey Gaijin18, do the models that we are painting now count for this contest even though we haven't actually begun it yet? Or do they only count when the contest starts? Thanks!

not sure about submitting army list as a rule, some of us might paint what they like and not actually play a game. or paint 3 or 4 different types of minis for different systems, which is my case.
i've models from Infinity, WM, 40k, BB to paint, and i don't even have a single army list so far...
