Gaming Table I Just Finished

Hey Btowners,
I just building this game table, I used an 8x4 medium density board. I first did the roads out of foam core, lightly cracked them up a bit, fixed them in place. Then I built the craters next to the roads out of paper mache and foam pieces. After all of that I plastered the table with a plaster of paris, silicone, texture and black paint mix, once that was able to dry for about 24 hours I came back and painted it with three different washed down colors, black, rust and the a ligher grey to give the higher areas a decent lighting effect, its kind of hard to see on the video... but its there. Leave comments and like if you think I did a good job. :)

Thanks CM, I appreciate the feedback, I plan on making up a few more broken up buildings and then maybe run some cities of death games or something.

Suggestion:

Next time, move the camera slower. Much slower.
I was getting dizzy watching. I had to turn it off after bout 20 seconds or so.

I did watch it long enough to see that I like the colors you used on the "ground."

Yea I understand the shakiness, I was using my phone because my camera had just died, I am going to get some better video of it and post it up soon, also I am trying to get a new camera so that I can do a full battle report on it. Thanks for the feedback. I was very happy with the way the colors came out on the table top, really the only thing I need to do to complete it is to build a lip around it to keep the edges from chipping, plaster of paris tends to chip pretty easily.

It wasn't the shakiness. It was the speed.
A bit of jogging on the camera isn't a big deal. You moved way too fast, though.
