Back in August of last year, I had posted a pic of my Ogres (WHFB) and my Nurgle Daemons (40K) thanking Bartertown for their help in collecting what I need for them. It was suggested at that time (by the illustrious MM) that I should wait until the creation of the new forum index and categories to start a "Post your army here!" topic. So, here it is!!! Again, thanks to Bartertown for helping me get this army together for ... wait for it... my wife to paint for a painting bet. May I present... The Wings of Sanguinius!!

Looks like squad designations to me.

Sorry haven't been in this thread for a bit.

It's a roll over from Necromunda. It marks squads as well as facing of the model.

It helps with armies that have a lot of the same model such as Imperial guard. When squads get mixed together makes it easy to put back in the case the right way as well as keep the squads together.

You may say, "But what if you want to change a special weapon or Heavy weapon in a squad." The answer is that I don't... I have another squad with that weapon load out to use. The perks of having 1000+ Ig infantry...

So, I have finished my Summer Painting Bet (2 weeks early!!!) and it was 2,000 points of 40K Tzeentch Daemons (ALL PLASTIC). Thanks to Lordnurgle for a bunch of this stuff!!!!

Basic list includes...

Blue Scribes (homemade)
Herald on Chariot (homemade)
10 Horrors
10 Horrors
12 Horrors (including IG Changeling)
3 units of 3 Screamers (High Elf Dragon conversions)
3 units of 3 Flamers (WE Dryads, 12 in pic... I got 12 so I did the extra 3)
3 Daemon Princes (Mark of Tzeentch with Flight)

A protectorate army I just sold off. First time I got rid of an all NMM army. Fortunately, to paint some more, so I get to play with the scheme a little longer.

Ogres and more... In other words, I have added to my Ogres since the last time. There are still 2 Giants and 2 Ironblasters to go (I stripped the other Giant) but I have also added a shot of my SOM Dragon too!

60 Gnoblars and 4 Trappers
6 Leadbelchers

2 Ironblasters






The trappers are missing too, good Finecast models BTW, but I will add them in at the time I add the Giants etc...

Oh man, it certainly does. As much as I'm happy with that scheme, it's probably the most time consuming color scheme I've ever done.
Just got through the army's first update in a long time:

Hey Oaf, I recognize that Orge in the back there. : ) And Spiral, what army are those guys specifically? (Excuse my ignorance) I might just get some of them to paint for fun they look so cool. Nice job by the way. : )

The army is from Warmachine, and the faction is Protectorate of Menoth. They are the religious crazies of that setting.
