Yeah, I feel the same way. That's why I've for the most part kept my opinion to myself. I wanna stay outta the drama.

i think the 2012 rules are good without the resolution challenge as stated in this thread first post.

That sounds good to me to Jul. So lets do that. So from now on we are going by the 2012 Staff Challenge rules as found here. (Excluding the resolution and army lists)

If there are any problems with this, contact Gaijin18 or myself. Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, we just need a set of rules to follow like HarlequinZero said. Thanks!

Too late to join? I have a ton of orks and necrons that I need some incentive to paint even if it's just a fun comp :)

We could always close registration at the end of the month to make it easier (points keeping wise).

Maybe the only way you can be added after the cutoff date is by invite only that way we don't exculde any late attendees.

You all better watch out, I've been a painting fool. I have been painting every night over the past few days, which is something I never do. Lol.

Myself, I don't think you should ever cut off anyone from joining. if they want to start in May and be 5 months behind everyone else, then so be it.
Like you guys said, it's for fun. It's only a 'friendly' competition. In that regard, what does it matter who joins at what time?

Just my $.02.

Well, I really don't like excluding people either, but if we have 20 people all posting pictures.... aww whatever. Just means I have to stay up just a little later. : )

Nice job on those! Jburch gets 11 points. I believe that is the right amount. I have some Tau coming up, just will be a day or two (finishing a commission)
