Re: SpiralingCadaver's hobby thread
Thanks, everyone!
3eland, do you have pics of those somewhere? Obviously I also like the color combo.
hapotte, thanks-- weird thing is, I actually play NB probably the least of any faction I've painted much for... I keep liking single minis but not the over-all playstyle for the faction/any given master... IDK. I mostly play ressers and outcasts, but my neverborn are definitely my best painted...
stokerd, thanks- yeah, I had a lot of fun experimenting with that lighting- doing lighting is my favorite, when I have time to devote on something more elaborate.

True, we love life, not because we are used to living but because we are used to loving. There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.

Re: SpiralingCadaver's hobby thread
I will be uploading them eventually in the Btown paint competition. I'm waiting on a light-tent and got myself a better camera (16.3 MP yay). I also have red and orange in it though but the yellow/purple shows really nicely. It is definitely a cool look.

So, some more creepypasta freehand:

Awesome. Love the random Sonic and Tails lol. Free hand is one of the things I just haven't been able to master. On computer where I can alt+z, blend, layer, etc sure but with brush not so much.
I love how the blue works so well with the black.

Re: SpiralingCadaver's hobby thread
Haha, thanks- not very experienced with creepypasta as a greater subculture/concept, but there's a pretty substantial bit of video game related alterations...
On freehand, yeah, best thing I can suggest is lots of paint <not smart>- makes it thinner and more working time.
On blue, feel free
. It's dark blue increasingly mixed in to the grey.

Heh, yeah, think that one's my favorite palate.
Also, a kingdom death monster (the wet nurse), therefore pretty much de-facto NSFW.

...and jolly little Frodo, who's definitely SFW.

So, some time back I did a test for these guys, but now they're up to a playable squad.

Re: SpiralingCadaver's hobby thread
Entered these in a competition earlier this year... the first shot is what I entered, the latter is a WIP piece I didn't submit since I thought it was gimmicky.
