Thoughts/opinions on how to create moulds.

Post by 3eland »

So I have been making a necromunda board lately and I have sculpted a few things I wish to reproduce to make it easier on me (and my green stuff). I have been googling and have found TONS of videos and tutorials on a numerous amount of products. I simply want to know what you, b-towners, have used and have learned to trust!

I am mostly looking for 1 part moulds since many of my creations don't have a bottom (or they are glued in a way you will never see it) however some people I have read use two part on their sculpts even though they have no bottom.

So let me know what you guys have tried/use and if you have any tips on making the moulds that would be awesome. I know to make it uber professional you need a vacuum and stuff, I'm just looking for tips and tricks to make my board making easier.

Thanks in advance,
~Ryan~

Bruce Hirst is a wonderful man who shares his skills and abilities freely. He has some great ideas, tutorials and walk-throughs for mold making.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Thanks Eric,

I remember coming by this a long time ago. I'll have to read up and try some of his suggestions out.
