Red Army

Post by IraShaine1972 »

Here is a squad of Warlord Bolt Action Soviets getting ready to drive the German invader from the motherland and take the fight to Berlin!

This is all in good fun so please don't pick apart any historical intricacies with colors as I pretty much just eyeball these from some pictures and mostly OTHER painted mini pics.

I like it very much.

What colors did you use on the uniforms? I have some very similar Black Tree Soviets, and Secrets of the Third Reich Soviet Zombies I need to paint.

- A simple 'not interested' to a trade offer is just being polite. It helps people setting up multiple trades know where they stand.
- Google something for someone, they get an answer. Teach someone how to Google their own answer, they own the Internet.

Desert Yellow for the uniform
Calthan Brown and Adeptus Battlegrey and bleached bone for the packs and belts and all that good stuff.

Fenris grey for the boots.

I then shaded them with minwax tudor satin stain/varnish goop and brushed on Valejo Matte varnish after it had all dried.

Probably takes about 15 minutes to paint one fig with this process.
