Hello Bartertowners!
We are at it again for our 3rd year! Clash for a Cure is a Warmachine/Hordes and Malifaux event benefiting the American Cancer Society. Bartertown members and staff have always been a huge help to Clash so I wanted to make a post telling you guys the details of the weekend. I realize that Bartertown is a global community so not all of you guys will be able to make it to balmy Waco Texas for the event in September but we love all of you for the support that you give! For those of that can, registration is open on the main site.
Our website is http://www.clashforacure.org which we will continue to add content to in the coming weeks. You can also check us out on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/clashforacure). If you drop by on Facebook, give us a "like"! The more numbers we have there the easier it is to gather sponsors. Plus you will get to see some of the cool models we will have at the event.
Clash will have 7 different Warmachine/Hordes tournaments over the weekend along with a Malifaux tournament and a return of The Cog, Clash's own painting competition with special guest Meg Maples judging entries! And of course, as some of you Bartertown guys already know and have helped out immensely, the Charity Raffle. The Charity Raffle has painters from around the globe adding their talents to models to be raffled off! Many thanks go to those of you that have helped me out with some of the needed models either by giving me a great deal on them or simply donating them. Special thanks go to Youngwolf7 and Plarzoid for doing some much needed assembly and conversion work!
Just a sample of part of the army Terarin is painting up for the Raffle (assembly done by Youngwolf7):
