"Unseen" and OOP Battletech - prices?

Post by ancientsociety »

So I have a couple Battletech Mechs that have been sitting in a drawer, unpainted and unassembled for like 15 years and thinking I might part with one or all of them. Looks like I have:

Battlemaster (the Macross-looking one)
Stinger (ditto)
Wasp (ditto)
2x OOPS Commandos (pointing right arm)
Omnimech Mad Cat
Omnimech Vulture
Heavy tank (Ontos, maybe?)

As well as a current Atlas, Commando, & Ares vehicle

How much are they worth? I didn't see a lot of listings on Ebay...
Trading Guidelines:
1. Lower rating ships first - even if I am purchasing.
2. If you agree to buy something, you have 72hrs. in which to pay. If payment is not received in 72hrs., I will automatically post a Non-Payment/Backout thread.
3. Refs are left upon positive receipt of goods, NEVER beforehand!
4. I accept Paypal & USPS money orders and charge for shipping AT COST. I make no profit from it.
5. I trade NIB/new models at retail.

search ebay for the best chance of figuring out thier worth.

I sold most of mine, years ago, for about retail. A few went for alot more. most didn't.
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

Moving thread to discussion forum.
Lower rating? You ship first.

Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

"Unseens" typically go for $10~15 on forums, depending on condition. Battlemasters and Marauders usually go for more. Not sure how much you can get for them at auction, but I imagine it'll be rather more. I usually sell 'mechs and stuff for $4-6 each on forums, but that's priced to sell; if you try, you might get more.
A few trade guidlines:
1) If your feedback is significantly lower, I expect you to ship first, even if I'm buying- Money carries greater risks than minis: I can't buy groceries with a box of Tac Marines!
2) Communication is key! I'm a reasonable guy (I try,) so if there's a problem, tell me!
3) I package things well, you should do the same. Protect minis from each other, too.
4) Leave feedback!
