Almost done! One Dark Elf army left to go so I'm trading it stupid cheap just to get "Operation Pile of Shame" listed as complete. This will take me from 11(!) fantasy armies to 4, 6 40k armies to 3, every Infinity faction gets cut back to just 2, and only one army each for Warmachine and Hordes! It's still a crazy amount of minis, but it feels good to get this under some semblance of control. I know I should prune even more, but I think this is a good, big step. Just waiting for a bite on the Dark Elves. :-D

I sometimes feel like I should just sell everything and start over "the right way". Pick a faction, buy a super small set of models, paint them up and play games and slowly build an army. Instead, I always end up trading armies for armies or buying things just because it's a hell of a deal. I now have all but one Warmachine faction, 2 Hordes factions, a small High Elf force for WHFB, and I'm starting to get back into 40k with SM, Eldar and CSM.

I get to play games once a week for about 2 hours. There's no way I need all this stuff. Yet... for some reason, I just can't come to terms with giving it up.

I'm glad you're making progress though - way to be a good example for the rest of us!

No, no, guard, turn, parry, dodge, spin and - then - thrust!
