Seeking Egyptian ships

Post by callidusx3 »

Fellow gamers,

I seek what may be prove difficult to find. I am hoping to build me a Tomb King navy for Man O'War. Since that fantasy race is colored with Egyptian motifs, I wanted to use Egyptian naval vessels (pre-Roman period... ideally New Kingdom period) as a base for my conversions. Does anyone know where I can obtain such ships?

Thanks much!

There were a couple "Egyptian" style ships in the Dreadfleet game.

Look at playmobile historicals. I know, it's insane. But with a little work they're great.

I did pick up the Dreadfleet ships but did not ever think of Playmobile! Thanks.

On closer inspection, that Playmobile seems way too big. Am I miss seeing something there.

And thanks about the kickstarter, but they did not have something appropriately Tomb King... though the Dreadships might do.

+1 on the Playmobile historial series, they look better than one would think when looking at kids' toys. Hell, I'm fairly sure the sets I had as a kid are among the reasons why I'm into historical everything as an adult!

Playmobile would be somewhat out of scale for 28mm figures. It is definitely wildly out of scale for Man'O'War, which is a much, much smaller scale.
