They look familiar.

Plastic- multi part.
They look nice but I've never seen them in the flesh.( I think porkuslime has)
Also the company is currently going through a "restructuring" and are not available from the mfg. at this time. So if you want lots not sure how hard/easy it'll be to get them.

I got a chance to pick up about 100. I have a ton of IG and a little extra infantry, is always nice.

Well, don't pay a premium for them (IMO). Treat them like any other mini: price based on condition, etc.
WGF is kind of restructuring, but they'll start having these available again soon. So, they won't really be hard to come by.

I'm not sure yet on that. There is the possibility of legal action by the founders of WF and also that the Shock Troops might be creator owned, so what we'll be seeing out of WF in the near future....who knows?
If it were me, I would buy them if they're cheap. They're pretty good--for the price.

Hmm.
Had not heard re: legal action.
Also don't see how they'd be creator owned, if WGF was already making them.
Then again, I am NO lawyer. LOL
Personally, I just think they're okay. They look to me like what they are: lesser quality imitations of DKoK.

In short, the former management were the owners of WF and the creators of some of the kits (others were sculpted...by others). So if the creator.manager/owner licensed his own company to make them---that might no longer be possible after he was turfed out.
Might. I'm not sure. But the WF saga is not over; the former management/owners are now over at the aptly named Defiance Games.

Thanks everyone.
I think I will pick them up.
They will make good conscripts for my DKOK and SL.

I love em.
I am working on a new IG force with these guys.. I should have pictures up in the Staff Challenge thread in the next 48 hours.
The retail on these is 18 figures for 19.99.. less if you can get them from the Warstore (for example). I was VERY lucky to get 2 boxes worth from athelu .. he had already converted them with Cadian parts like I planned to, and that just made the price he asked more than reasonable.
SUPPOSEDLY those will be back in production asap (Neal at the Warstore had just gotten in a shipment from WGF directly last week!)
Also SUPPOSEDLY there will be "command and heavy weapons teams" in this line sometime over the summer.

I got a box, I think they are quite fun figures. Even better if you order some cadian arms off the internet to make quick swaps.
