Purchased a Chaos Dwarf army book and 5 OOP minis from Karl, made payment on March 31st, and as of April 9th I haven't even heard back from Karl ONCE regarding confirmation of payment, shipment of the goods, or even his *intent* to ever ship them to me. I've sent numerous PMs and Emails directly, but he doesn't even bother to respond. Buyers and Traders beware!

You don't reply to any of my requests or messages on Bartertown, which is pretty distasteful considering we almost entered into a transaction for several hundreds of dollars for your Hobgoblins. You will be receiving a negative reference by the end of the weekend IF I don't hear back from you regarding shipment, OR if I don't get a refund. You pick.

I need one more thing from you... You've posted nothing that shows where an agreement was made. You are supposed to post the entire PM or email string as proof. Can you update that, as well, please? You need to show where the deal was struck, and what it was actually for. I only see YOUR posts referring to what was for trade, but nothing from him. Thanks.

Now, that being said, you're correct. He should not have waited 9 days to ship/PM/respond. It's disrespectful.
Regardless of whether you receive your models or not, either a negative OR neutral reference would be understandable.

I went and worked out shipping at the post office and they told me it would be £4.31 to ship the book alone, call it £5 with the extra models included.

5 x £1.85 = £9.25

The total would be £29.25

Could you go to $4 on the hobgoblins ?

Alright well, I'd be interested in th 2 Empire figures and 3 Zombies at that price, and the Chaos Dwarf book (you still didn't give me a price on the book unless I missed it?). How much for the 5 models, the book and the S&H total?

As for the Hobgoblins, I'd be interested in all 58 of them, or not at all, but I don't know how much you'd let them go for. I know you said 3.50 (which is like 5.25 a guy in US dollars), but I really can't do more than $3.5 US (roughly 2.25 pounds) per guy, particularly if I was buying all of them.

Even if you won't let them go at that price, I still want the above 5 models and CD Book (depending on the price), so just let me know a total for them when you can.

Alright, just to update the situation here, here is a string of the latest PMs to Karl after he said he had already shipped them out, prior to April 9th. It is currently 10:30 AM April 24th, I have not heard back from his regarding ANY of the PMs I sent him this week, and no sign of the package. At this point I'd gladly settle for a refund just to wash my hands of this transaction entirely and never have to deal with this guy again. I've done dozens of trades in Europe, none as painful as this.

Didn't get the package yesterday either. I need to update that BTR post soon since tomorrow is the 10th business day since posting and I haven't gotten the package yet. Let me know what you want to do. If you want to just do a refund, that works for me, and I'll move on from this transaction and try to find the CD Book elsewhere. Let me know before I proceed. Hey, what's going on with these items??? You said they shipped out on April 9th, and today April 20th and still no sign of them. You don't reply to me when I message you, and I think this is a little ridiculous. Let me know when they shipped or what is going on with this delay, or I will document this in the bad trader thread again as I paid for these items over 3 weeks ago.

Alright, perfectly acceptable solution. I'd like to you know that while I realize you're in the UK, I paid you March 31st. It's not my fault you waited until I pushed you enough to get you to ship that you posted the items April 9th. I don't think it's unreasonable for me to work out a deal with you and then expect you to ship them within 3-4 days unless you notify me of some delay, and you didn't say two words to me until April 9th when you said "they were in the mail," which I optimistically (and apparently foolishly) meant to mean you mailed them out *prior* to the 9th and that I'd hopefully get them that week or last week. As I said, today is April 24th, and I still didn't get them. Personally, I don't think I was overly harsh at all. If you're going to make international transactions, or use bartertown at all, at least try to stay in communication with your partner. There's no reason I should have to message you 3-4 times before getting a reply. In all my time using Bartertown, you're the *first* and hopefully the *last* person I open a BTR about.

That said, of course I will refund the money to you when I get the items. Here's hoping it's sooner than later. Thank you for the courtesy of the refund for the time being.

Ok ive issued you a refund for the items however when the items arrive i expect this back.In the meantime remember that i will be offline for a few days and so wont be able to respond to messages until i return....in the meantime you're not out of pocket.

10 days to get something to the u.s isnt a very long time and i cannot answer your messages every day as i am unable to access my pc everyday due to work commitments.

I find the BTR report extremely harsh as..

1) i offered to refund your money while you waited for the items and then you could pay it back when they arrived - there is no risk to you at all in doing that but you said no.

2) bad trader reports stay on the website permanently and it is unfair for you to do that to me when i have told you whats going on with these items.There is nothing i can do while theyre in the mail is there ?

I have done thousands of £$'s worth of transactions on here and have no need to rip anyone off.If i were going to be a swindler i would do it for sports cars or something a little more pricey than warhammer models

I will refund your money in a moment, however when the items arrive i expect this to be paid back to me.I am mainly doing this as i wont be able to be online for the next few days and wont have time to be dealing with this but you arent out of pocket at all right now so while i am offline please dont freak out.Life sometimes gets in the way of even bartertown deals.

Feel free to get back to me, however as i have just stated i am on bartertown less and less as i dont have time nowadays.You will get all of the items however.

Also feel free to post this in the btr thread if you wish.
