We have a deal.

I will be sending:
1x Librarian Terminator (NIB)
1x Librarian (NIB, the one with the staff and the book)

and you will be sending:
1x Kromac (2 figs) (NIB )
1x Morvahna (NIB )

How you would like to ship? I usually ship priority but I am good with whatever. Just so you know upfront. I can only ever be sure to ship on Fridays (with work and school) but I always try to ship as soon as I can.
Let me know.

So I see that you got my package but I haven't gotten yours yet. Could I have the tracking number please? Thanks again for the trade.

What's up? Have you shipped yet? Please let me know.
Thanks,

Alright this getting a bit old. I PM you, you read it and don't respond. You need to respond. If there is an issue on your side I need to know so we can work it out, or you could just uphold you side of the trade and send me the figs and the delivery confirmation number.
I don't want to be a pain about this, but you have to understand my side of this.
Let me know.

-Robert

From: left ( 28 ) To: Kasiok Posted: Thu May 15, 2008 5:14 pm Subject: Re: librarians
Just to make sure we are clear, you do realize that it is seen when you read a PM, so I know that you have been reading all of my PMs shorty after they are sent.

Look, I don't want this to end badly. I just want what was agreed on for the trade. I sent my half of the trade as agreed and shipped when I said I would. I expect you to send yours. I don't want to have to post a Bad Trader Report and I don't want to leave negative feedback. Mostly I don't want to have to file a mail fraud report and have the authorities take care of this. So please reply and let me know what is going on and how we are going to finish this trade.

-Robert

Hi, this is Aarons brother. He has asked me to send you a message on his behalf. He says his computer doesnt seem to be letting him send PMs to people so hopefully you get this. He wants me to let you know that he will be back in the US on the 25th and he can check into the problem then. Not sure what he means by that but i know hes in Madrid right now for work and wont be back till then. He gave me his pasword for this place so i could try to get in contact with the people he cant seem to. I guess let me know what is going on and i can try to see wat i can do. Otherwise youll have to wait on him.

Thanks,
Brandon

Thank you so much, this is exactly what I needed (wanted and hoped was going on). So we are good now.
We have a trade setup:
I sent:
1x Librarian Terminator (NIB)
1x Librarian (NIB, the one with the staff and the book)

and he will be sending:
1x Kromac (2 figs) (NIB )
1x Morvahna (NIB )

I sent 2 weeks ago and he was supposed to send before that. If you can send out his part that would be great.

Hello again. Your brother said you would be pack in the U.S. on the 25th (being the 28th now) I can assume you are back in. Hope you had a good time. Just wanted to send a reminder to you about our trade and see what the plan is?

-Robert

From: Kasiok ( 10 ) To: left Posted: Wed May 28, 2008 12:44 am Subject: Re: librarians
Man i apologize, i meant to get the package out to you before i left but being in the military doesnt give you much of a choice on how quickly you go. Definitely wasnt fun though. Anyways, ill get it in the mail to you no later than thursday as i have to go to the base in Indy tommorrow to run some guys through some training and im not sure when ill get done. I dont have anything thursday though so ill be all clear then. Thank you for being patient with me and ill be sure to throw you a liitle something extra for your inconvenience.

No worries, I understand. Thanks for giving your brother your password, the communication was the key part, I was just getting worried. Thanks again for the trade.

Hello,
Just wondering if you have shipped yet? If so do you have a DC#?

Sorry to bug you.

-Robert

There you have it. The last PM there is still sitting in my outbox. I have yet to receive my figs. If nothing comes out of this then a mail fraud report is the next step. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
If pictures of my delivery confirmation slip and shipping receipt are needed I can post those too. However the delivery confirmation number is listed in the posts.
Hopefully all of this information is enough.

White Pages listing for a phone number at 3404 Forest Terrace, Anderson, IN.

I think this guy might be blowin' smoke up your hind quarters. Fort Benjamin Harris has been closed since 1992. The only active duty unit there is DFAS, and they would (generally) have no reason to be in Madrid, Spain on duty assignment. Contact the DFAS-Indy at (317) 510-6388. Ask for the Staff Duty Officer and explain what's happened with this guy. If he's not actually military, it's another crime the guy has committed. Make sure you have this guy's address handy, the SDO will probably want it.

It's also pretty odd that the guy gets stationed in his hometown. I'm presuming the "James Gunckel" listed in the White Pages is his father.

There's also this profile page. It shows his last login on 11MAY08.

Thank you very much for all of your information. I actually found that phone number before I posted this BTR, it is disconnected.

I also spoke with another b-towner, this guy is not military at all.

I really do appreciate all of the help, thank you.

Aaron Gunckle burned me as well as I told the OP. I CALLED his work and talked to his District manager and apparently during his stint in the military in SPAIN. He was actually at a gaming convention in OHIO on a weeks vacation from the store when I called to chew him a new butt....

The Lictor... IS PISSED.

Sorry to see this happen to you Robert. Wish I didn't see that you shipped before receiving the package from him. Too bad.

I would do the Military followup as he is commiting additional fraud if he is saying that is where he is when he really isn't. Additionally, if he is in the military, they don't look at mail fraud and theft very well either.

I wish I still had all my skip tracing contacts for the military available. Too long out of the collections business. Sorry I couldn't be helpful to you on this.

jlong05,
Thank you for your help. With the shipping, at the time he actually had a higher rating then mine is even now. I figured he had been here for awhile and would be fine.

Ah.. Didn't realize the BTR was already submitted. That makes a lot more sense. Still, sorry to see this happen.

Hope I'm not stepping on any toes getting into this conversation, but I have a lot of family in Anderson, IN, and I know the area well. The only store to play at in that city is The Danger Room.
http://www.danger-room.com/
I go in there to kill time when I'm visiting, and I can tell you they're a very small group of players there. If you give them a call, I'm sure the owner will try to help with any info he has. I'll put out an email to my cousin who still lives there, he was a gamer a few years ago, and may know the guy.

Papa -T,

Making an effort to be helpful (and thereby a more valuable member of the Bartertown community) is never looked on disdainfully.

Thank you for posting the info. What do you know about "Games on the go" in the area? As I understand it, that's where he is (or was) employed.

Unfortunately, I've never heard of "Games on the Go." I tried my (admittedly weak) Google-fu, and all I got was the games on the go forum, where this guy used to post.

http://forums.gamesonthego.net/index.php?showtopic=439
Here he is bragging that he used to do painting at the Danger Room and hold classes. (Although this post is old.)

I'll send off another email to my cousin, and see if he knows the place.

When I managed to get a phone number for the store: They said it was the Danger Rom he was a manager with.

I have given the number to the store to 'Left' and suggest you call and raise all mighty hell. Believe me, If I was a local to his store, he'd regret EVER burning anyone here. Not just me, I'm pissed, but when trying to get him to come clean and fix this, he does it to 3 more people!!?

I'd be reporting it to the police. But since I got my stuff ater threating him and the store, i don't have much of a complaint for the cops to go on now.

Hey guys, I'm also a mod over at GotG, and yes, Kasiok is a moderator over there, but he hasn't been logged in since May 11, 2008. Just thought I'd help verify this! He's also listed as living in Anderson, Indiana.

As an aside, I've had a couple of successful trades with Aaron, and I've always known him to be a good trader. I suspect that there's some other extenuating circumstance in his absence, though that doesn't make him guiltless.

For me, there are no strangers here at Bartertown. Just friends I haven't met yet.

Unless somebody ends up here on the BTR list. Then I'll gladly hunt them down.
