Hello,

This is my first time having to post here. I have completed maybe 15 or so transaction through Bartertown in the past with no problems.

I bought some tanks from Crystal Henry, I sent her a money order for 550.00, but I have not received the tanks. Imailed the money order on 06/13/05, it is now 07/18/05, and no tanks!

She had plenty of good feedback, which makes it odd that she screwed me, but there it is. She has not responded to me since 06/25/05

Thanks for the offer on the figs, but I use VFM figs, and they don't mix well with other lines unfortunately.

NKVD SECTION: 12 die-hard Communists

4 men with SMG

2 men with Mosin Nagant rifles

Radio, banner, and Comrade Commissar in leather jacket.



All of these NKVD men are by Battlehonors and have "officer" style caps and Greatcoats



ANTI-TANK ARTILLERY: 5 men

1 76.2mm anti-tank gun by Battlehonors

5 crewmen which appear to be by Westwind(one is an officer in Greatcoat)

1 GAZ-truck by All Fronts Armor Depot.



CASUALTIES: 19 dead men

Mortar and Maxim bases, 14 individual dead guys-by AFAD and 1 Gory death by EZ8 Entterprises.

One YAK-7 fighter/bomber model painted and decaled

the total for the 2 tank lots is $545----I will toss in the BH Opel blitz tuck and 2 Corgi Kubelwagens(you could paint one drk. green and put big red stars on the doors!!)

I have the same problem with crystal. She has 156$ of mine. I have e-mailed and tried to call her number form the internet. She has a good trader rating so I am at a loss. They are but I have an offer for $150 that I will extend to you as well(I am in a nice mood for the holiday) also all to the list---Warcaster Vlad, Mechanic and 4 assistants. shipping for these would be $6 so a money order for $156 would have it for you. the Warjacks alone are $115. attached are some pics. At least you know it was received and cashed... maybe she just hasn’t gotten them mailed yet.. its only been 7 days... I would at least wait 14 days before doing something that you may regret or may make you look silly in the long run. The post office will require 30 days anyway more than likely! If she has mailed them and its just late arriving... or she has PC problems.. their is allot of variables.. that’s why when dealing in large amounts i always give and receive a contact number.

I filed a report with the Postal Service from their web site. I will get in touch with her local authorities this week and see if there is anything that they can do, but my guess is they tell me its out of their control, buyer beware and all that jazz.

I have the receipt to my money order, I entered it into the online form at the post office when I filled my mail fraud complaint. How do I go about finding out when it was cashed? I didnt see anything on the web site.

I had to make a few calls to western union for mine. I think you said that yours was a postal money order? I would look on usps.com and find the customer help line. It may take a few min but I have found them to be helpfull in the past.

Let me know who you talk to in rolla so that I can speak to him/her also. Who knows if 2 people start to complain they will at least check it out.

OKay, Bartertownians (Bartertowners?).
Here's what I have for you so far.

I live in Festus, Mo. That is just a pubic hair south of St. Louis.
Rolla is not CLOSE to here, but is not very far, either.

A google search of Jonathan Henry (even with various spellings of John) comes up with nothing in Rolla. Crystal Henry, however, comes up.
Her address matches the one above and the phone number given is 573-426-6012.

I called it and it is disconnected.

So, I called information.
I gave them Crystal's name and address and they came up with this number: 573-426-5269.
Since it is the same area code & exchange, I felt good about this being the correct number.
There was, unfortunately, no answer after 2 full minutes of ringing.

My cell phone has free long distance & free night & weekend minutes.
I will call Crystal a few more times this weekend, if needed, and continually at night, until I get a hold of her.
Considering the last couple posts, I have a scary thought.

Crystal is, likely, not the culprit here.

Crystal is probably mom, sister, wife or daughter to the culprit (likly, John). I can tell you, honestly, that someone like this could easily get money orders and checks transacted if they are in someone elses name, if he played his cards right (wrong?) and stuck to his story.

I will update this thread as I have info.

So, it seems that the Henry's have caller ID, at least... though they don't seem to have an ANSWERING MACHINE...

I crashed for a nappy-poo this afternoon (I'm getting old), after signing offline. Apparently, they called the cell phone while I was "out."

I'll have to give them a ring tomorrow.
