This guy has ripped me off I believe. I was supposed to get a tau lot from him for 200 dollars. I prepaid him 100 believing him to be a nice guy and I have received no msgs back in over a week. No confirmation of tracking numbers or anything. I see that others have had issues as well. I would very much like to try and get my 100 dollars back as there are probably other interested people that would like my money for what they are selling. This is my first time ever buying something from this site and doesn't seem to be a good start.i hope we can do something about these scammers

Okay first I need you to post all pm's/emails/text etc that you had with him. Otherwise this doesn't meet our site rules and I'll have to remove it.

There are currently three other BTR's against this individual and MM gives some good advice in them so please check them out.

Also be aware that he has been banned from this site.

Once you have your BTR posted, follow the instructions I've posted in other BTR's:

I had a few spare minutes, so I contacted his local police department.
I spoke with Detective Curtis (Norwich PD 860-886-5561, Detective Division). Here is what must be done to get their assistance (Forgive me, if you've already done any of this. It is a generic message I'm posting to all of the BTR's.):

Visit your local PD or Sheriff's office and file a report on him.
BRING YOUR PROOF:
Bring a printed copy of EVERY PM or Email you exchanged. Have them in the order that they were sent/received.
--Even include your own in this, as it will show a complete line of communication.
Bring a list of everything you sent and the current MSRP. If you can provide a print out from the appropriate web site, then all the better. If the items you sent were OOP or (like a Hellbrute) not available individually, bring a few examples that show the aftermarket SALE price of these items (note: eBay COMPLETED auctions on SOLD items would work well for this).
File the report and ask them to follow up with the Norwich PD to ask them to take action on it. Detective Curtis said this is the only way they will take action on your complaint, so make sure your PD knows this and BE PERSISTENT!

This is my own personal advice:
Ask the officer/detective to let you know after he has successfully contacted the Norwich PD.
Ask when you can expect to hear back from him.
If he does not call you on that day, you call him the following one.
Be persistent (I can't say this enough). Stay on them to get the help you want and need.

If you encounter anything during your experience that you think might be helpful (an officer gives you advice or you have success when saying a certain thing), PLEASE post that information into your own thread and all of the other Redemtion086 threads.
If you find out who is working your case in Norwich, PLEASE post that information into your own thread and all of the other Redemtion086 threads.

Your situation may be different. Because you paid him via PayPal, you might be able to call them directly (after contacting your own local PD) to get help.
I would, of course, still urge your local PD to get in touch with his.

I've spoken with the OP. I'm giving him a little leeway on the time frame because (a) he's new and clearly a fish out of water at this point and (b) redemtion is such a DBag.

I've made sure he understands the rules and consequences, though. Hopefully, we'll be seeing the PM history soon.

How does 200 dollars sound? I'm just shopping around on here right now and just trying to find the right deal for myself:) seems like everyone is getting rid of tau and I'm curious as to why! I haven't seen the new codex yet but i have a feeling it will be very much an improvement to the old one

it is an improvement from the last they actually got buffed alot everyone is getting rid of there tau models cause the new ones are coming out which is why people are selling the now what would be old models cheaper then normal and 200$ shipped sounds fine with me im actually shipping out alot of stuff today so if your seriously interested shoot me a payment and ill get these out priority and you will have them by the weekend.

Hahaha I can tell you are at your computer a lot 3 msgs in a matter of minutes hahaha! Yes I do want them. They aren't too old or funny looking are they?? Just the regular ones that everyone has been using in the past couple years? Also my payday is not this Friday but the next one coming up which would be April the 12th. Is it okay if we wait til then? I will buy them for sure just don't want to cut money out of bills and stuff! (Our silly expensive hobby anyways) hahaha let me know if that's alright and on the 12th I will send u payment!

they are the most recent non 6th edition models same ones GW has been selling the last couple of years and i understand finances if it suits you and i normally do this with every one ( sort of ) i normally do 50% up front and 50% when you recieve them but in your case i can do 50% up front and the other half when you get payed if you think you can swing that will insure you the models and they still get shipped today

yes this is correct you will owe the other 100 the 12 when you said you get payed and im shipping from CT

Again this is my normal sell practice doing the 50 / 50 split makes the transaction more comfortable for both party's normally though its the other half on delivery but since you let me know when you get payed again its not an issue i know the funds will be here the 12th and it will be sent of priority if not first class

I hope so I just managed to do a army trade recently and acquired 2 battle forces from another gamer buddy. So that plus the models from you should be a grand start of an army! Also if in the future u are looking for any 40k or fantasy let me know! I have lots and am always changing things up.
