Bad Trader: IdentifyZero Item not received

So I am not the type of guy to get mad at people but this guy has been jerking me around for far too long. He is basically avoiding me. I have tried e-mailing and calling him and I'm getting no answer. I gave him $100 up front to finish painting some GKs and then when I got the rest I would pay for the army. He has an account on dakka dakka so I signed up for that to try and track him down. At this point I just want my money back because this is ridiculous and it's from November. Our thread is a bit scattered because we used phone, e-mail and bartertown at first I was lenient with him but it all started to sound like stall tactics after awhile.

5 of the Paladins need their heads put on. 5 need their weapon arms re-attached. Painting needs to be finished.
Librarian, I put the head back on and fixed his weapon. He needs painting to be finished.
If we can work out the details before thursday is over I can get them sent out to you this week.
As is, it would be $195 with tracked shipping and I'll even throw in some extra stuff for you like some parts to make a few power armor gk. Then you could use your extra money to expand your army.
If we got this taken care of tonight, I could have it sent out before 5 tomorrow and you'd probably get it by wednesday or thursay at the latest.

Honestly, I could just give you the exact list of colors used and the scheme I did and you could paint them.
It's not that I wouldn't like to paint them for you, there is just a time investment as well as materials that I have to make to do the models. Realistically, a figure like Draigo for example is going to take me upwards of 5 hours. Even at $45 that does not take into account the paints, brush usage, varnish etc...
I don't do commission stuff often, just cause I don't have a lot of free time and I have to make sure the time I am spending is commensurate.
Why don't you just grab them for $175 + shipping as is?
I will include a crapload of spare weapons and weapon options, arms etc.. so you can even do magnetizations or whatever you want.
I mean if you really really want them painted, the prices are more a reflection of the time I have to put more than anything else and it's my free time at that as I work/go to school. When you take materials into account, I'm making less then minimum wage when I do this kind of work.
Like I said, I'm more than happy to give you an exact listing of colors and method used to paint, it's fairly straightforward at this point and I don't mind taking the time to type up a little guide for you.
Re: have imperial guard

Ok, here is what I have figured out.
$190 for the models including re-attachment of all arms etc..
Painting
$50 Dreadknight or $65 Magnetized
$45 Kaldor Draigo
$50 9 Paladins and Librarian
$40 Brother-Captain Stern
$40 Assassins (Although, you could just as well paint these since they are not matched to GKs obviously)
Included for free is modifying the weapon loadouts how you wanted and including of spare weapons and bitz, many which will be painted.
This would bring the total for all painting and converting work to $225 ($240 with magnetized Dreadknight) AND if you wanted them scenicly based, it would be $3/model (14 models) it would be an additional $42 and I would do the Dreadknight's base as a bonus.
$282 - All models painted and scenic based, dreadknight magnetized with options of weapons and easy transportion.
Which I will drop down to $260 + $190 for the GKs themselves which would bring the total to $450.
If you want to remove some options from that i.e not having assassins painted, models scenic based and/or dreadknight magnetization let me know and I can adjust the price accordingly.
Assuming you go the above route though, I will also include a foam tray to go inside of a figure case that I will cut to fit for the models and I will cover the cost of tracked shipping AND I will also drill out all bolters/storm bolters as an additional bonus to make the models that much better.
It would be 1/2 of the value paid before I begin work and then the other 1/2 paid out when I have completed the project and I am sending it out.
To clarify, this would be $450 - all units painted, based, dreadknight magnetized.
Bonuses: all weapons drilled, foam tray for the infantry, shipping (as a bonus from me)
Just let me know what we're going to do. If I started next week, I estimate I'd be done in less than 14 days. As we approach the end of November/Beginning of December I will get a bit busier.
I have PayPal or I can take a cheque.
Cheers

I know GK well, I never lost a game or came close. Those paladins only ever took a single casualty, apothecary = key to victory because you get 2 saves vs 90% of weapons fire.
After I get home I'll try to give you a proper figure. I forgot to mention as well, unless you did not want me to, I would be gloss varnishing when finished.
Also, did you want them scenic based or not or just regular painted color.

Trust me, you NEED the apothecaries. This is what makes your Paladins able to survive against high firepower.
It's simply not worth playing Paladins without the apothecary. This is how Paladins work:
Each unit, you equip with unique wargear so you can allocate wounds and do not have any models the same in a unit. This allows you to have multiple guys alive each with a wound.
The trick to survival: Is the apothecary.
Vs AP2 weapons and power weaponry, the Grey Knight Paladins only have a 5+ Invulnerable save.
VS normal weaponry, AP3 and up, they have a 2+ save. If they fail this save, with a apothecary, they re-roll and on a 4+ they save the wound.
This is what makes them survivable. The points for each guy is the best points you would spend per unit. Otherwise, you would may as well run normal terminators.

Hey, a Justicar is just like a sergeant, he's considered the squad leader i.e the one who would take a perils of the warp if he got hit. I will try my best to get a final sort of cash figure for you together tonight on the total cost of the painting. I can also arm the troops exactly as you wanted of course. I would however, suggest putting apothecaries in the Paladin squads as FeelNo Pain is what really keeps them survivable vs small arms fire. It lets them take their 2+ save and if they fail it, they get a 4+ (vs non power weapons, instant death stuff)

Alright Jordan, I go by Will.
I've done commission work in the past (I will say my work is high standard, definitely not golden demon unfortunately but those guys charge way more).
Anyways.
I was asking $175 as is, I was going to list on Ebay for $199 with the arms fixed, so let's consider $190 with all models together and on bases as our starting point (I always remove $10 off an auction price when doing off ebay).
To finish the 9 Paladins and Librarian, I said $50.
The assassins I could do for $40 ($20 each, estimate about 2 hours a figure not including time spent in between paint drying)
Draigo is a tricky one to figure out as the figure has a lot of detail and I imagine he would take me upwards of 4-5 hours.
The Dreadknight I'm unable to figure out as I've never actually painted one before. I would say he would probably take me about the same ammount of time as Draigo.
Also note, that the cost of my materials (Glue, spraygun, paints, brushes (they do get worn down)) are included in the price.
We can talk tomorrow and try to come to an arrangement. I'm pretty busy with school, but I don't mind doing this for the extra cash as I can likely tackle it on a weekend.

Let me finish uploading the pictures and you tell me what you think of what I have done so far. Also be sure to look at my purifiers to insure that the standard of painting is what you would want.
That would be to finish the 9 Paladins/Librarian. (One of whom I forgot to include in the picture, the apothecary)
Draigo/Stern = Unpainted
Dreadknight = Primed Black, assembled with blue-tac.
Also noting, I am not sure how interested I am in the tanks, just because I am going to be doing Airborne guard and looking at the Elysian list, they aren't allowed to take tanks. For running as normal IG I might be, I'll have to think about it. I have a habit of trading for a lot of things I don't need... I would honestly prefer to trade the tanks for the castle though, as I need to make some cash from the GKs to fund my guard. ^.^
If you did buy the GKs, I'd also throw in a bunch of extra bitz (Including 2x Banners) and a few power armor guys. Unfortunately, I don't have the codex, it's up for sale with my other army. The images are almost uploaded to dakka.

$200 was what I was going to list on ebay with them re-assembled.
Out of the group the 9 Paladins/Librarian just needed the wash and touch up. If you check out the purifiers in my auction, they would be painted to that same standard if I finished painting them. Unfortunately, I just don't have time to do that for any ammount of cash someone would pay me lol, I'd estimate it's about 3 hours of work for me so I'd want close to $50 dollars to do the rest of the painting. Honestly though, unless they are being displayed most people would have a hard time realizing they are unfinished in a table-top environment.
What was your email, I can lay the mout as they are currently and send you a few pictures, likely I'll upload to Dakka and then send you a link.
Also, did you still want the castle, if we were going to be doing this deal, assuming we do?

I can take pictures of them, but as noted, they are presently in partial pieces as I was originally going to magnetize them. I was intending to list them on Ebay for $200 after I had re-attached all arms.
These figures are 80% painted except for the heads in a few cases, but mostly just need to be glued on. They just need a wash to be finished painting.
The question is, what state were you interested in them in? In the current state I can take a photo or I can re-assemble them and take a picture, but after I've completed fixing them I'd want a bit more then I had listed in the ad. (Planned to list on Ebay for $200).

I would be interested in trading the Warhammer Fantasy Castle for them if you like, it's completely unpainted and has never even been basecoated.
The Grey Knights I am also selling an army on ebay if you are interested:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/160677934849?ss ... 1555.l2649
As for the Draigowing force I have there, I would prefer to sell it but if you want to trade those models + some cash make an offer. Ultimately, I'd rather trade for the castle and sell you the GKs with a little discount.
Where are you located?

As for the Draigowing force I have there, I would prefer to sell it but if you want to trade those models + some cash make an offer. Ultimately, I'd rather trade for the castle and sell you the GKs with a little discount.
Where are you located?
