Bad Trader: Viking AKA Moe Jacob

I have dealed with Viking and hasn't delivered his part of the deal. We agreed to trade Elysians (my stuff) for Grey Knights (his) and I was to ship first since my rating was lower. (Full listing will be posted below). We agreed to ship with tracking to make sure we could keep track of the packages and know when it got to destination. When I sent my package, I received a message from Viking telling me he was going abroad for his work but that a friend would get his package. After weeks of waiting for Viking's return, he told me he wasn't coming back for a while and said his friend would send the package back. I'm still waiting for it and communications are getting worse.

Sounds great! I don't need the Codex since I already bought it.
If we agree to a deal, I will ship with tracking number and I expect the same - it's a lot safer that way, for both of us! I live in Canada too, I don't mind shipping internationaly but some people do, so if this is a problem for you, please tell me.
If all this is okay with you, I believe we can work something out.

well the only problem is that I follow the Bartertown tradition of lowest sends first . I find that it works best this way. So if you are willing to ship first and have a IG codex then we have a deal.

Sorry for the delay! I was out of town for the whole day.
We got a trade. I don't mind shipping first, as long as we both use tracking numbers. As for the codex, I will have to get it back from a friend, but I can get it into the deal no problem.

My pal is getting back tomorrow. I'll get the codex when I come back from work and pack everything then. You should get the tracking number either tomorrow in the evening or saturday.

hello I have a problem , I am in the air force and was called out last night around midnight, I was in line to see the THOR movie when I got the text. So now I'm in Dover Delaware fixing to leave the ground and wont touch down again until we hit Turkey after that well I'm not sure. The problem is your figs havent arrived and I could be gone from a week to 72 days ( thats the max deployment time in my current job description for the militery ( I work on drone systems like the predator but not the predator). I have a friend who will swing by my home and get the figs and mail them back to you asap or he can hold onto them until I get back and then I can finish our trade its up to you. If you sent them out needing a signature then they will most likely be heading back to you because I have no one to sign for them.

Quite a last minute call, if there was ever one. Each job has its quirk I guess.
I presume you can get in touch with your friend to tell him what to do with the figs depending on my answer so here's my offer: He can keep them for two weeks and then give them to you if you're back in the meantime. Unless he can ship the Grey Knights for you,though I would like you to ask him to send back the items, after two weeks, starting from now (May 6th 2011).
Hope we can close this deal soon. In the mean time enjoy your time in Turkey.

O.K. it looks like Im screwed for the next couple of months. A friend did get the package you sent and will be sending it back to you early next week. I,m very sorry for the problems but he is not a miniture gammer and would not be able to gather the figs to finish the trade. Also hes a friend but not a good enough friend to allow into my Hobby area un suppervised.

I know it's not what we agreed upon in the first place, but then I was not supposed to be left hanging like that either. How does that sound?

And still no answers... Funny enough though, it seems mister Viking AKA Moe Jacob is still trying to sell/trade stuff (viewtopic.php?t=114270) while flying Drones or whatever in Turkey. Everybody who is interested in dealings with him, beware and check this post before sending anything.
I'll be contacting my PD and the e-crimes division of RCMP this week to file a complaint.
Mesquite Texas isn't near, but if anybody knows,or worst, have been scammed by a Moe Jacob living at the above addresse please contact me - together we can bring him to justice and take back what's ours.
