I originally received a PM from Sarnas on Feb 10th (a Wendsday) concerning my paintball thread (which is no longer up). In exchange for my BT-4 Assault marker, Remote Line and carry all bag, he offered me $75 cash + Tau items from Warhammer 40k (a Hammerhead, Devilfish, and 3 Crisis Suits). Through a series of PM's, the deal was sealed the same day. We each had problems getting to the post office but continued communications until Feb 18th, when we both had confirmed our respective packages having been shipped.
A week went by and I had received no contact or package and I had made no contact either, so I PM'd him asking if he had any news. He responded, stating that he had received a call from his post office stating they had received and was processing it and asked if I had received my package yet, I informed him that I hadn't. I have sent him 2 PM's, 1 on March 1st (Monday) and 1 on March 2nd (Tuesday) stating that I still have not received anything yet and we are now at the 2 week mark.
He replied that his GF had picked the package up for him and that he should be receiving it today and that he would call the post office and see if he can find anything out. I sent him another PM March 3rd (Wendsday) saying I have not received it again and that I spoke to my Mail Person and that they said there was nothing they could really do without a tracking number (full explaination from the postman is below in the PM's). He responded stating he received the package from me and everything was fine. We sent a few PM's back and forth over the next 2 days discussing our options on how to rectify the situation.
On March 5th (Friday) he tells me the package was held in customs due to GSR (gun shot residue) and that it would end up being sent back to him. This time, I requested that the money portion of the transaction be sent to me through paypal and the Tau stuff sent regular mail with a tracking number. He said he wanted to wait until he received the package so he could use the money in it to send to me through paypal. During this whole time he has reminded me that he was leaving on vacation March 12th. I sent a message on March 10th asking if he could atleast send me the $75 portion of the trade through paypal even if he didnt get his package back since he already had the goods promised to him and I have nothing. He said that was fine and would either have himself or his sister paypal the money to me. I sent a PM with my paypal address.
On March 24th, I received a message from him stating his sister sent the package out to me, although there were also models in there that werent originally part of the deal and was put in by accident. He asked if I had received it and or the paypal payment from his sister. I sent a message back saying I havent on either. The last message I sent, on March 27th, which he has not read yet, is asking when he is supposed to be back and to let him know I still havent received anything.

Would you be willing to split up your paintball lot? Mot of the stuff I either don't need.
What I'm interested in is:
BT-4 Assault itself (Including the basic stock.)
Tank and remote line (The connector to the pack.)
I do have some tau, but not a full army.
Hammerhead with all weapon choices
Devilfish (Missing gundrones.)
3 crisis suits, with -most- weapon choices, a few are missing.
Obviously I'd supplement this with Cash, or we can do an all-cash trade if that's easier for you.
I can come back with a cash offer, but I need to know if you can ship to Canada.

I havent had any offers so I am willing to part it out. I dont mind shipping to Canada. How much cash are you willing to include with the Tau for it? Also, as far as I knew the BT-4 had the basic stock on there so I have no other one for it. Give me your zip code so I can determine shipping, 13905 is mine so you can do the same for the Tau. If the shipping is about the same for both of us I would say we just each pay to ship the respective items out to the other, how does that sound?

Yeah, I mean the stock that came with it, sorry. I also forgot to ask, does it come with the allen keys? I also looked at some bylaws in my region, and it's illegal to ship CO2 canisters without a license. I'm still interested in the remote line, though.
Shipping calculators require weight and other factors, so it's sort of difficult to do. I'll pay my own shipping and half of yours?
I would want about $100USD for my Tau (Which is about half off, since they are used.)

I'd be willing to offer my tau, $50USD + 1/2 shipping for the BT-4 + Remote line.

Hey there,
I've shipped to the US many times (Said people owe me some good ratings, but I digress.)
Basically, you do not want to mark it as "gift" 'since that is technically lying. However, the higher value you rate it, the more likely it is to be held up. I'd say give it a value of $75-100 to get it through simply.
A few other things that some people miss, and can get them in some trouble. Make sure to separate the barrel and stock from the marker if at all possible. Ship them in the same box, but wrapped individually. The shipping of unloaded paintball guns is legal, so long as the FPS is lower than 500. Anything with an FPS of 500 or higher is considered a firearm, and illegal to ship over the border without specific and expensive permits. Sometimes they are tested, so if you could make sure to dial down the FPS, it makes it easier.
I whole heartily recommend insuring the package, and getting a tracking number. I will do the same, and we trade those numbers. This makes it easier to track it, obviously, but also if it does get seized for one reason or another, we can get some cash back from it.

Unfortunately I believe the BT-4 is about 6 pounds so it would cost $49 so you would end up sending me $74+your Tau+the shipping it costs to ship the Tau. Thats pushing you up around the $200 mark (including what your Tau are worth). If thats the case you should probably try to find a used one in canada on Ebay or something because it be cheaper. I am not backing out of the deal, just wanted you to realize that you might be taking a hit by doing this thats all.

Yea I will definitely separate them lol I dont need the FBI at my front door (although that be funny). The FPS is already turned down to between 300-330 because all the regulation fields I played at had that as there set speeds.

Yeah, it's more than fine to use it, since that means I'll be able to play with it sooner
I'm going to ship mine standard, however. Two times I have sent models first class, and they've been a bit bashed up when the person receives it. For a metal paintball gun any mistreatment won't really matter as much. I will get you a tracking number.
Friday sounds good for me to ship, too.

It usually takes 2-3 weeks on the outside. It really depends on the traffic levels. You're basically screwed if it's anytime near Christmas. I can't really say either way, but you will get a tracking number, so you can watch it yourself.

Hey, I am sorry to say I didnt get a chance to ship the package. While I was there trying to fill out the forms and such my daughter started flipping out (shes only 20 months old) and people were getting cranky with listening to her (one guy yelled at me for even thinking of bringing her to the PO to do this, what a douche bag). Hey, I still havent received anything and if its not here tomorrow were hitting the 2 week mark which has me a little worried since you shipped it express. Were u able to pick mine up yet? I know u said they had called you saying it was being processed. The main reason why I am worried is because I bought something else from Canada on ebay, which was shipped normal post on the 17th, and I already received it. Still nothing today. I spoke to my Mail person and he said that without a tracking number theres nothing they can do. With the volume of mail that goes through the USPS system every day they would never be able to search for a single package with just my name, even with todays technology. Did u get your package from you GF? Were you able to talk to the people at your post office?

You are absolutely right, tracking one package without a tracking number is almost impossible.
I did talk to my mail office. They can't track the package. They can, however, track the truck it was first shipped in, and hopefully find the web from there (If that makes sense.)
Knowing my office, they won't get around to it today. They even had the balls to tell me it'll be a few days.
I have about a week before I go away, so hopefully they can get back to me soon. When I start packing for my trip, I'll look for anything else I have extra or of value if you do end up needing a replacement.
If everything goes sour, I WILL return the BT-4. You have my word on that, but I hope that doesn't have to happen.

I've got a little aesthetic cleaning to do, but all the parts look and operate just fine. I field stripped it, oiled it all up and so on when I received it.
In human terms? I love it. The only small things I need to do to it will be cleaning the small little bits of paint here and there, but over-all it's in great condition.
I haven't tried out the remote line yet, but it looks solid too.

That works. But I have some news.
My package has been tracked to a US customs office. The only reason we found it is that it there was a report filed on it, and my name led to it.
I work at a gun range, and didn't think that it could have any effect on the package, since I packed the tau after a long shift.
The package was stopped because of GSR (Gunshot residue.) So I just have to clarify that it was actually me, prove my identity and my occupation, and it -should- get reshipped.

If it had I am gonna assume it was never repackaged and sent back out since I havent received anything yet. Its been over 5 weeks since since this whole deal began. I see that you sent me 2 messages, which for one reason I can't open. I have some updates though!
My sister shipped the models again, but she did something... Weird. Instead of the $75 (Which I told her to do over paypal...) she also sent 20 Cadians, 2 sentinels, some heavy weapon teams, and a space marine rhino. In her words "I don't know what the 'F' each model is. I just sent what was on your desk (I know what was there because I was working on them
)
Has she been in contact with you for paypal yet?
She told me she shipped the models back on March 18th, 2010. I can't say why it took so long either.
Man, this is really frusturating, since I know none of it is your doing and right now I'm powerless until I get back home. Feel free to right me a bad review and topic, and post this in there too. I feel like an ass, and want to get this resolved as soon as I get back.

so when are you supposed to get back? and to keep you updated on things over here, I havent received a package or paypal yet.
Other then trying to stay in contact with Sarnas and talking to my local post office people I have not done anything else to help resolve the issue. At this point I dont know if there is anything else I can do other then fileing this BTR. Yeah, I mean the stock that came with it, sorry. I also forgot to ask, does it come with the allen keys? I also looked at some bylaws in my region, and it's illegal to ship CO2 canisters without a license. I'm still interested in the remote line, though.
Shipping calculators require weight and other factors, so it's sort of difficult to do. I'll pay my own shipping and half of yours?
I would want about $100USD for my Tau (Which is about half off, since they are used.)

Hey there,
I've shipped to the US many times (Said people owe me some good ratings, but I digress.)
Basically, you do not want to mark it as "gift" 'since that is technically lying. However, the higher value you rate it, the more likely it is to be held up. I'd say give it a value of $75-100 to get it through simply.
A few other things that some people miss, and can get them in some trouble. Make sure to separate the barrel and stock from the marker if at all possible. Ship them in the same box, but wrapped individually. The shipping of unloaded paintball guns is legal, so long as the FPS is lower than 500. Anything with an FPS of 500 or higher is considered a firearm, and illegal to ship over the border without specific and expensive permits. Sometimes they are tested, so if you could make sure to dial down the FPS, it makes it easier.
I whole heartily recommend insuring the package, and getting a tracking number. I will do the same, and we trade those numbers. This makes it easier to track it, obviously, but also if it does get seized for one reason or another, we can get some cash back from it.

Unfortunately I believe the BT-4 is about 6 pounds so it would cost $49 so you would end up sending me $74+your Tau+the shipping it costs to ship the Tau. Thats pushing you up around the $200 mark (including what your Tau are worth). If thats the case you should probably try to find a used one in canada on Ebay or something because it be cheaper. I am not backing out of the deal, just wanted you to realize that you might be taking a hit by doing this thats all.

Yea I will definitely separate them lol I dont need the FBI at my front door (although that be funny). The FPS is already turned down to between 300-330 because all the regulation fields I played at had that as there set speeds.

I'm going to ship mine standard, however. Two times I have sent models first class, and they've been a bit bashed up when the person receives it. For a metal paintball gun any mistreatment won't really matter as much. I will get you a tracking number.

It usually takes 2-3 weeks on the outside. It really depends on the traffic levels. You're basically screwed if it's anytime near Christmas. I can't really say either way, but you will get a tracking number, so you can watch it yourself.

Hey, I am sorry to say I didnt get a chance to ship the package. Hey, I still havent received anything and if its not here tomorrow were hitting the 2 week mark which has me a little worried since you shipped it express. Were u able to pick mine up yet? I know u said they had called you saying it was being processed. Still nothing today. I spoke to my Mail person and he said that without a tracking number theres nothing they can do. With the volume of mail that goes through the USPS system every day they would never be able to search for a single package with just my name, even with todays technology. Did u get your package from you GF? Were you able to talk to the people at your post office?

You are absolutely right, tracking one package without a tracking number is almost impossible.
I did talk to my mail office. They can't track the package. They can, however, track the truck it was first shipped in, and hopefully find the web from there (If that makes sense.)
Knowing my office, they won't get around to it today. They even had the balls to tell me it'll be a few days.
I have about a week before I go away, so hopefully they can get back to me soon. When I start packing for my trip, I'll look for anything else I have extra or of value if you do end up needing a replacement.
If everything goes sour, I WILL return the BT-4. You have my word on that, but I hope that doesn't have to happen.

I've got a little aesthetic cleaning to do, but all the parts look and operate just fine. I field stripped it, oiled it all up and so on when I received it.
In human terms? I love it. The only small things I need to do to it will be cleaning the small little bits of paint here and there, but over-all it's in great condition.
I haven't tried out the remote line yet, but it looks solid too.

That works. But I have some news.
My package has been tracked to a US customs office. The only reason we found it is that it there was a report filed on it, and my name led to it.
I work at a gun range, and didn't think that it could have any effect on the package, since I packed the tau after a long shift.
The package was stopped because of GSR (Gunshot residue.) So I just have to clarify that it was actually me, prove my identity and my occupation, and it -should- get reshipped.

so when are you supposed to get back? and to keep you updated on things over here, I havent received a package or paypal yet.
Other then trying to stay in contact with Sarnas and talking to my local post office people I have not done anything else to help resolve the issue. At this point I dont know if there is anything else I can do other then fileing this BTR. With almost 2 months time lapsing here I am beginning to think I am being screwed, especially since his "vacation" has been 23 days long now, since I have not heard anything back from him and he hasnt logged and read my last message.
