Hi, Jack.
I am interested in your Saurus Warriors and Skink Skirmishers. They
are of
the latest edition? How many of each do you have? Since they are
primed
white I am assuming they are also assembled. Were they primed with
Citadel
primer? How much would you want for the lot?
Get back to me with all of the information provided if you can.
Thanks,
Victoria

On second thought, if you could give me a list of both Bretonnians and
Lizardmen with prices, that would be great.
Thanks.

Hi Jack
Just a friendly reminder to get me that list whenever it's most
convenient.
You did tell me you'd get me a list by Friday but I understand you are
busy
and it's just fine if you want to take a few more days.
I just wanted to remind you to send it to me.
Thanks
Victoria

Hi
Thanks
Yeah, just get back to me when you have a full list with price quotes
compiled.
Also if you could answer my question about the primer and the condition
of
the models, that would be just fine.
Thanks,
Victoria

Hi
Thanks so much for the list. It's given me a much better idea of what
you
have available. I'm sorry to bombard you with questions, but what
condition
are these figs in (assembled, nib, sprue, primed, painted, etc)
Just to let you know, I'm very interested in purchasing many of these
items.
Also -- do you have any references? Ebay is fine. Bartertown is good
too.
Thanks

Number 6: ( again, my and her replies)

Logging on every hour? No pressure there to get you a quick response.
Hopefully it'd be worth your while.
Just as a warning: this e-mail is very VERY disorganized. I'm writing
as
i'm thinking...and i'm apparently not thinking very well tonight.
By the way -- thank you very much. Not many people out there would put
together a list like this.
This is what I have temporariliy decided I am interested in:
Bretonnians:
Any peasant bowmen still on sprue and unprimed
Men at arms
Hero on Pegasus
The 2 pegasus knights still on sprue
Extra Bretonnian Sprues
Anything still in the blister (men at arms, odd knights, etc)
Field Trebuchet
Damsel of the Lady
Fey Enchantress
Lizardmen:
OK i'm going to stop here. I'm pretty much interested in everything
you
have. Even the useless bitz. Yes, I am interested in everything you
have
listed in your previous e-mail.
I will be purchasing these Bretonnians as a gift for one of my friends
who
has always wanted a Bretonnian army. He is mainly interested in items
that
are unpainted and unassembled. I, however, am not picky and would be
willing to take the partially painted, partially assembled (re:
leftovers)
off of your hands if you'd be willing to knock off a couple of bucks
since
you might be throwing them out anyway.
Just a quick question:
You said everything was the most recent edition...but aren't the skinks
with
bows from the last edition? The ones that are out now are the ones
with
little daggers and spears and blowdarts...or am I mistaken?
Get back to me concerning that.
As for the price...you initially said that it would be 150 for the
bretonnians and 130 for the lizardmen...which is 280 but then quoted me
290.
Whatever. People make math mistakes all the time. Anyway, if I'm
going
to buy all of this as one lot...do you think we can come to an
agreement of
250 for everything? If you're currently laughing or getting pissed off
thinking you're wasting your time, then it is obviously not something
you
would want to do...so I guess for now *boing* ball's in your court.
What do you think?
Thanks,
Victoria

Hi Jack
A couple of things.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way -- you sound like a good
person so
I'm sure you'll understand.
Do you think you could check out the minis on
http://www.gamesworkshop.com
to make sure everything is the most recent edition? I'm a bit cautious
only
because I've been burned on a few transactions where people said things
were
of the most recent edition but they were not. It will most likely not
change my decision about this purchase but I'd just like as few
surprises as
possible.
Also -- about sending you the money. Again, I've actually just
completed a
problem with an ebay purchase where someone duped me out of nearly
$1000.
Paypal would be immensely easier for me to send the money. Also, it
has
fraud coverage. I'm not accusing you of fraud, of course, it's just
that
with a trade as large as this, I'm trying to be as careful as possible.
Would it be possible for you to send you a check for $150 and then send
you
another check for $150 once I receive the figures? Please by all means
tell
me if I'm being too difficult. It's just that paranoia is bound to set
in
after losing out on $1000. You understand, don't you?
What do you think?

Hi, Jack.
Yes, I received the packages yesterday. I actually have a few
questions and
small problems to work out with you before I send the second payment of
$125.
I'll list them for you to be more organized:
1) The Fey Enchantress was not included in either package. This was
part
of the purchase, was it not? Do you think you could take a look around
and
check to see if you accidentally left it out?
2) The old blood...although he looks like old blood...isn't actually
old
blood. The blister is pewter and this one is not. Yeah, I know it
seems
trivial, but if paid for the pewter one, then logically I should have
the
pewter one.
3) Half of the Saurus Warriors are the old edition. There are two
boxes
that are of the latest edition, and two boxes from last edition. You
did
not specify this -- even though I asked you to double check everything
on
the games-workshop website to ensure the least amount of surprises
and/or
disappointing elements.
4) The skinks with blowpipes and/or shield and hand weapon are not the
chameleon skinks. They are, in fact, the newer edition of the skinks
with
bows.
5) All 90 of the peasant bowman are of last edition. See comments for
Saurus Warriors.
I am not angry; I just don't like unpleasant surprises. I had asked
you to
look online at the website because I did not want something like this
to
happen. You led me to believe these models were of the latest edition
(with
exception to those you and I mentioned) and when I received them in the
mail, the models did not match the description or the agreement we
arranged.
I would like to discuss matters with you concerning the Fey Enchantress
since it was not included in either box. Do you think you could mail
it out
if you still have it? I would also like to talk about the second
payment of
$125. The problem is this: I am paying you this money under the
impression
that I was receiving specific products. I did receive A product, but
not
the one I originally thought I was purchasing. I am proposing that you
knock off an amount from the second payment to perhaps compensate for
this
unpleasant surprise.
Please get back to me as soon as you are able -- also I will obviously
be
waiting to send out the second check until this matter has been
settled.
I hope you understand my concerns and will not take my words as a shot
at
your integrity. I am not accusing you of anything -- I am merely a
customer
who has questions about a purchase.
Best regards,
Victoria

Jack
After much thought, I've come to the following conclusion:
Everything that is of the old edition is fine. I'll just deal with it.
As
for the Fey Enchantress and the Oldblood, I would like to subtract that
amount from the $125. The Fey Enchantress, a figure I paid for but did
not
receive is $15 and Oldblood, which is a plastic Saurus Warrior dressed
to
look like the actual pewter model is $5. Also just knock off $5 for
the
inconvenience and unpleasant surprise and we'll call it even.
That rounds it off to an even $100. I'll send you a check for $100 and
that'll be the end.
Is that okay? I feel it is perfectly fair.
Let me know,
Victoria

Number 12:
======================
Hi, Jack.
I'm sorry I have not gotten a chance to put the check in the mail.
I've
just terminated a trade on Bartertown because the guy got really
hostile
when I checked his trading references and asked a few questions.
I promise I haven't forgotten about you and I will not rip you off at
all.
I will send you the second check as soon as I can.
If you e-mail me tonight with your address, I can pop it in the mail
tomorrow from work.
Just so there isn't a disagreement I just wanted to remind you that we
agreed on a flat $100 instead of the $125.
Please e-mail me with your address once more and then again when you
have
received the check.
Thank you for your patience and I apologize for the delay.
Victoria

And there we have it.
When I emailed her the few times after I sent a copy of the emails that stated what was still owed, etc.
Hope that helps.
