the [funny] thing about it is, more prople are concerned, scared of the local pd than they are the postal inspectors.. and the inspectors are equal to the fbi.. and they are in every city in the US.

I am the person who introduced Heathen right to Bartertown. I feel really bad that his first trade went bad. I tried to help him over the phone but nothing we tried worked.

How long does this go on before the people in power do something to the scam artist? Is there not enough information to take action? Kobeblackcat has done nothing to contest this? What is the next step?

I have introduced three of my friends to Bartertown and this is the first time one that something has gone this bad.

Like MB said, we can ban him and add his name to the list of Bad Traders...as soon as Adam gets a certain ITL mod finished, there'll be another nasty we can toss at him. Otherwise? No such luck.

So I've just recieved my "package" from Mark and believe it or not it's full of GARBAGE, used sprues, boxes of space marine empty sprues, and old blood bowl crap, and mainly filled with popcorn to take up space.

I'd wager that the stuff weighs what he was supposed to send you does.
He'll claim that he sent the stuff & you swapped it out.

I know it's a stretch, but handle the items as little as possible. You never know if they'll be needed for fingerprinting.

and call the postal inspectors. that's their job. bring all the documentation.. email's times you calld the police, who you talked to, everything that shows what happened and when.

Might be a good idea to print off photos from GW's site of the models you were supposed to receive. After all, unless your local PD has a huge Warhammer league within the station, you're probably looking at the folks taking care of this not knowing an Ork Boarboy from an empty sprue.
