Update...
My deal with Mr.Griffin was for the painting of some minis. In addition to my minis I included a check in the amount of $25.00(approximately-don't have bank records on me now to be sure) for partial payment.
After many emails and a certified letter I received the minis back and a promise of a refund(the check had been cashed). It has now been a month and I have yet to receive the refund.
I had planned to file a small claims court when I had lost out on both minis and money. I did my research, and was ready to file-Chris responded a couple of days before the deadline I had set.
Here is where I could use some opinions.
Now, with the amount in question being reduced significantly, should I still persue legal action. I have the means and time available. I pass through Gainseville at least twice a month, and I will be able to recover court costs and a small amount of punative damages(just enough to break even with fuel consumption and other expenses). Should I continue?
I am one of those people who do "dumb" things on principle and my knee-jerk reaction was "hell yes". Do you think this is worth it? Would doing something like this be of any value to the trading community as a whole?

If I owe you a reference, please let me know. I accidentally deleted my PMs.
