At this point I'd like to stress this is all happening because he suddenly decided to stop communicating with me. I still feel I got the better end of the deal and if he told me the rulebook, cards and fate deck won't arrive at my place ever because of [insert convenient excuse] I'd be grumbling a bit but... I'd probably let it slide in the end. As things stand, maybe he'll be more inclined to talk here. Dunno. I felt like the trade was going really well to be honest.

Looking at your wants, I had an Iron Warrior army that I traded to a mate. Don't think he used it a single time and I could probably get back like a Defiler or Two, old Vindicator (half metal, old chasis not the new one),..maybe some troops. I split the lot and I don't know what he ended up with, pretty sure it's at least the two defilers though. I suppose you're offering mcmourning?

Yeah, phone camera isn't the best and this was my...I think second or third GW army I collected. My later work is/was much better quality. They were the first army I won a big tourney with though so they still hold a special place in my heart. Good old days of Basilisk, 2 Defilers, Obliterators, Sniper Squads (5 man infiltratings CSM with LasCannon and Plasma gun), 2 totally bonkers HQ choices... I miss 40k sometimes.
Anywho, I'll go to my mate's place again this evening and I'll see what else can I find in his gaming room. Last time it was those Defilers and a whole Lizardmen WHFB army I haven't seen in like 6 years and totally forgot I have it. XD

Great, you got yourself a deal mate. Painting improves in time (and camera quality & skills
) and in my...probably about 15 years of gaming now, I've been through at least 10 GW armies (40k and WHFB, not counting Necromunda, Mordheim and LotR which I've also played) and... 5 PP armies. Now I'm on my road to Malifaux. You know what they say, 'there are people who play games and there are gamers'. And that something I keep telling all the newbs at our LGS, wargaming is not so much a game as a hobby. Requires dedication. Anywho, keep representing the Creator and True Faith and I'll nudge you in hopefuly 3-4 hours with what I've scavanged, +throw 2 Flameguard Cleansers in the deal because you're a fellow Menite.

Travel by ground normally take twice the time by air (thought sometime it can take 3x time depending on circumstances like incompetence and environnemental hazards). So if I check the date I sent you the package (Jan 18), they should be this week (if all is ok). Hope you get them soon !

One time, I tried to send an army book to France, I don't know how but the book went to England, Germany, China, and then finally ended up in France. Got the package today and...I was quite disappointed to be honest. Packaging was super poor, most of the things were broken/bent, some beyond repair (like punk zombie swords and other fiddly bits). After a more thorough examination, I figured out I can repair pretty much everything and replace zombie swords with some plastic ones so I won't hold that against you. Especially considering my stuff probably won't arrive in Canada in one piece as well. If you still didn't get it (to make you rest more easy
), I did put considerably more effort into packaging as you. So that's the minis which...let's say are kosher. As for the rest...well there is no rest. A bunch of broken models was all I got. No fate deck, no mini rulebook, no cards. I was quite pissy about this to be honest. After reading your post again (I forgot about it in the mean time), I found out cards arrive later on so that's not a problem, if rulebook and fate deck are in that package as well I'll consider your part of the trade fulfilled decently enough for a good ref. But you said you only shipped the cards?
tldr; things weren't in optimal condition but I'm willing to let that slide. I suppose we'll discuss this after I get the rest of the stuff as per our agreement and you get yours.

Ok, I feel I've been waiting long enough now. More then the lack of cards (which should have arrived by now but I'm still willing to give you the benefit of doubt about post being slow) I'm irked about your lack of replies. I see you've read my posts within 48 and didn't reply to last 3, asking you to clarify some stuff. You have 48 more hours to come up with a satisfying answer or I'll be forced to file a bad trader report and slap you with a negative ref. It's not something I'll enjoy doing (in fact, it will be the first negative ref I give on bTown) but given the condition of models and missing pieces, I feel a bit cheated.
