Hi Bartertown, it is with regret that I post my second BTR. Usually the community here is outstanding.

I agreed to trade an OOP Leman Russ tank on sprue for five painted SM bikes. I was feeling generous (bad monkey!) and even though I had a much higher reputaion agreed to send out at the same time. He acknowledged receiving my tank, but has not logged on since or answered my request for a shipping status. That was more than two weeks ago. I'm assuming something terrible happened to him or he is not coming back to the site. I'm not expecting to recover the tank or receive the bikes, but to provide fair warning to other good traders.

yeah the bikes are painted SW colors, but if i was you i would just repaint them, like i said i didn't paint them so they aren't up to my standrads

Only have the land raider left for trade, but it is nicely painted and in good condition, the bikes are painted not by me but ok, easy to repaint in good condition, and none of the characters are finecast, but the logan and ragnar are well painted. I have made trades for the rest of my tanks

Hi,
I have an older version Leman Russ on sprue. The one you have to put the road wheels on.
What condition are your land raiders and other tanks in?
what about the bikes?
Are any of the SW characters fine cast?

No insult intended towards the guy, but anyone sporting the name of a sports car (Austin Healey?) would raise the hair on my neck a bit.

That said, I did not find him, but I did manage to find a "Sally A Thomson" at that address.

It might be that he doesn't read his FB messages. I've had plenty of my own friends not answer messages for months. LOL
If the profile posting doesn't work, try to post another message, but "tag" him in the message. That may work.

UPDATE:

Thanks to Eric's investigative skills I tracked him down on Facebook, posted to his wall that it was easier to send the bikes then deal with being accused of mail fraud. He answered back about being stuck in Maui with a sick relative. I guess they don't have the Internet in the Pacific... It could not have been that horrible a trip because his girlfriend's Facebook page was oozing wi her excitement about the Hawaii trip.

Anywho, he finally sent some bikes to me. He "threw in" and extra bike that he had tried to make an attack bike out of and the regular bikes he sent were missing pieces.

Overall a very disappointing show. I would not recommend trading with him.

I decided to not leave feedback at all for him. I certainly would not leave positive feedback, and he did eventually send something sort of what we had a deal for, so I don't think negative feedback is warranted either.

There is always a Neutral ref to consider. It puts up a flag that there was an issue but neither raises nor reduces his ref score.

Just a thought.

Since this is resolved, though, I'm going to go ahead and move it to the "Resolved" forum.
