I paid this [individual] $30 in June for a couple of units of LOTR dwarves. Months of excuses later, they still haven't arrived, and now the guy won't return messages. He had a crappy rating in June, though his recent history looked to be pretty satisfactory, so I assumed he was back on the up and up. He's pretty imaginative with his excuses, I've got to give him that. Or maybe he's just the unluckiest [person] in Texas. Am now pursuing relief through paypal. This may be my last trade on bartertown. Second time I've been burned on a deal. Dunno if it's worth the hassle.

Still haven't received my order. At this point, maybe you should just return the $30 I paid you two months ago. Or I can contact PayPal and have them get it from you. What's your pleasure?

When conducted trades on B-Town, it is sometimes wise to check a user's references. This individual has had 4 negative references made against him. I highly recommend this practice when trading, and I am not saying you shouldn't trade with these kinds of individuals; but you may want to have them send first.

I would go ahead and give him a negative reference and file a paypal claim.
